As long as GM or their supplier is warrantying the engine, it would be a nice option, but, knowing Polaris, the turbo would only be available at a premium price on an all-new, super-upgraded Slingshot, in other words, it would probably have the SLR wheels/tires and a new COLOR and would sell for an additional $5-10,000!
I forgot to add that Polaris might need to program and test a new ECU since the newer 2.0 L turbo motors have a direct-injection fuel system and possibly other differences from the current engine which might drive the cost even higher.

My wife drives a 2.0 turbo BMW and I can tell you that it feels smoother and is quieter than the 6 cylinder ones. Of course, it uses twin turbos and an 8 speed transmission to do this but damn it screams and is smooth and quiet at any speed.
