Got to have some slingshot time this afternoon with @SLLE Canada and his wife. Took him on a few of my favorite back road rides. I think the two of us are going to work together to bring the Sundre Sling fest to fruition. So today was showing him a few rides we could do with our fellow slingshots. Pretty sure he had a blast. At the end if the afternoon I took him for a rip in the sling so he could feel the power. And I let him take it for a drive so he could experience it for himself. Right now I just finished taking 60 kid's for trailer rides. Now I'm just gearing up to do a fireworks show. Then maybe relax a little lol. Check out is tomorrow and I'll finally have more time to post some stuff.

Slingshot Garage, it was alot of fun going cruising and hanging out. Thank you so much for taking time in your busy day and showing me some amazing cruising rides, most fun I've had yet on my sling. Though I could only see the tail lights of your turbo sling, rally driving and taking our rides to 200 plus ( Canadian speed amazed-squared ).
Then he let me take out the awesome red machine for a quick zip, WOW :D , that turbo thing makes a bitta differance :00008643:
Shawna and your kids were great to get to know, .
Were hoping to organize a Sling Shot event for next year, Sundre area is very nice place, and Mark has a great RV area.
    Thanks for the hospitality :00000441:

I ordered my PRP SS seats with suede and cloth for that reason but will pay the price if and when they get wet
and trying to dry them and foam will rot and smell sooner .
So price to pay no matter what direction you take.
But I sat in Suede seats in Lotus and they were so comfortable and your butt did not slide and felt so good.
So taking chance on keeping them dry and being comfortable..

I seen on another thread that someone had suede seats and they "Scotch Guarded" the suede portion.
I'm eagerly awaiting my PRP seats and they will have a seude seat and back and side bolsters. So I'm gonna try the scotch guard thing when they arrive. I also ordered the seat protectors for when out but not driving, so unless I'm caught driving in a torential down pour I'm hoping the suede will be ok.

Really like the looks of these, but for every 1 good story you hear seems like 5 other bad ones.
The other thing that scares me even more is the majority of people with problems cannot seem to get good customer service or feed back from Corbin.
I'm sure sales would increase with better customer interaction.
I wish they would address the issue and provide better solutions with there customer service so the ratio would then be 5 positive to every 1 negative.
Hoping that they latch onto this idea, no pun intended ;)

I'm looking to get a fun little zipper for my wife. Many of you have met her in person. I'm looking at either an electric motorcycle or a Vespa. Neither of these require any shifting and they're both comfortable to ride. Do any of you have experience with a Vespa 150 vs a 300?

Mr. Roberts, I do not have any experience with a Vespa. But I can offer some experience from a close friend of mine. He wanted his girl friend to be able to ride with him but she had no real experience with shifting and leaning while turning, how to brake properly, etc. He got her a CanAM, automatic shifting, self leveling, good braking and cornering, etc.
He said she is pretty happy with it and confident while driving it.
    Just something to consider.
    Have a good one

No I am not dead had an action packed day been busy today running around. Made it home 7pm. When we left great falls it was 8 celsius it warmed up to 10 celsius and that's where it stayed for most of the ride 6 hours. Was a little warmer closer to home. But we never really thawed out till we got back. Lol
So many things to tell in the last 24 hours will have to wait a little bit to post. Just wanted you to know that I wasn't dead. And I'll be back later.

Started as a adventure that took a few weeks, that will be filled with a lifetime of memories.
Mark you have captured the hearts of many and without speaking, given us a reason to hug our kids and tell our spouses how much they mean to us.
Mrs. SlingshotGarage, though we have never met or spoken, you are truely a genuine caring person who deserves much admiration.
You both have allowed us not only on a trip with you, but have opened up made us feel a part of the trip.
Many days I could not wait to come home and see the updates of your epic adventure, and more than once I have left the computor with my eyes watering with joy and happiness.
I want to personally thank you both for sharing funny and intimate times with us.
You both have been a true inspiration and from the bottom of my heart I thank you for that.
One day if I get the honor to meet you both, please excuse the unexplanable tears I may shed as we exchange hugs.
Thank you both for allowing me to tag along on this trip of a life time.

Well gotta start to head home tomorrow. We have the rodeo this weekend and it should be busy. The rodeo is the same as the calgary stampede it stops in sundre first before moving on to calgary. Cool eh! Get the same show without the tourist trap prices. And the venue is smaller so it's more up close and personal.

Safe travels on your way home. :saint:
It's been a awesome adventure. , thank you.
Gimme a shout once your back and settled and had some chill time. 8)

    Prayer warriors:

A life-threatening storm has hit Rapid city. Vehicles are flying around like popsicle sticks. Mark and Izak are safe, in the hotel basement but the poor sling is outside in a parking lot, at the mercy of 100 kmh winds and softball side hail. Please pray for safety of the sling!
    Xoxoxoxo

I've been away for few days and just got caught up with the adventure saga. It's hard to keep a dry eye when reading a few of these updates. I hope that there ok and able to continue on the journey.
SundreSlingQueen, you are one awesome support system, Kudo's to you  .
Mark take care on the rest of your trip bro.
Will make the effort to see ya when you return,
