Yes my stock nuts were hard to take off. I had to buy a long breaker bar to get them off,-not in great shape, rounded. I am looking for a better lug nut first-if they looked great-better. thanks Jim

Not only do I have Gorilla nuts I have shiny Gorilla nuts!

    Pics are for SlingLow

I'm a 68 yo widower. The last 2 motorcycle accidents left me with the need to have something fun to drive with more than 2 wheels. I bought a used 2016 SL with 3059 miles (now over 5000) to satisfy my need. I've been having a blast driving it on nice days. I'm looking forward to meeting other owners. I'm in NE Texas in Paris.

Welcome, Glad you found us! Lots of owners in Texas who'll be glad to meet you

Leah Like chavey2 mentioned a lot of. us are running something other than stock sizes.

In many of these set ups the options are very limited. Funinthesun cautioned me about this but I wanted to put as much rubber on the road as possible.

My best advice is to do your homework and decide what YOU want from the tires.

Keep in mind there are always tradeoffs, so depending on what you value your ideal tire is going to be different from others.

Good luck on finding something you like!

Right now I am running Riken Raptor's. The new General's are good according to DER, also the Lexani's are said to be good. Look for a softer compound with a tread that will move water. You are new to the Slingshot, so stay out of standing water on the hi-way, it will put off the road with no control. Just stay away from the NITTO 555's

FunCycle I think you must have me confused with someone else. I'm running Toyo tires.

I've never had generals so I can't speak to them but have been happy with my Toyos but wish they still made the T1R tread pattern.

It is with sadness that I make this post. I have decided to sell my Rolex President watch I purchased on May 10, 1992.

Once upon a time getting one of these and sporting it was a sign of success. Sadly now it has become a target for thieves as my bride so often reminds me anywhere we go. Since I carry all the time an attempt to take it from me will result in one of us dying cause I ain’t giving it up that way for something I worked so hard for. I am not naive enough to believe it couldn’t have been robbed back in the day if you went to the wrong place. But these days people are getting robbed going to the grocery store or they see you somewhere then follow you home to rob you there. That puts my bride in danger also and I can’t have that. It is a sad state of affairs when you can’t have nice things for fear you can be assaulted or killed for it….anywhere!! I suppose I’ll be tradin in my Texas Timex for a regular Timex…..real bummer but my bride is thrilled so that is something😂

You're supposed to be retired now....time to lose the watch and run on valley time

I just love this place and all the friends I've made along the way and still making!

Thanks to another brother I have a display unit on the way!!!

Didn't have to wait two weeks for polaris

Hey folks, I'm in need of a radio display unit. My son in law just picked up a used sling. (He found one before Bu11sh1t found it) It's a low mileage 2016.5 unit but the radio display isn't working. I've swapped it out with mine and everything works fine.

I'm hoping someone on here has upgraded their ride and would like to unload their stock display unit.
