Its evident you have never ridden in a boosted sling. I tend to not make assumptions, but instead make statements based on facts. There are quite a few that can confirm what a boosted sling that grips can do. Ask around, or better yet go for a ride.
The Vette is my personal favorite to run against because their owners have the biggest egos.

you assume wrong. i’ve seen a supercharge and a turbo set up in person and also ridden on each one of them. Though, they are impressive when it comes to sound and power and what the SS should have been from the factory, but the SS is still an auto cycle and limited to one wheel only.

Now, i’m not saying that your boosted sling can’t compete with the corvette. There’s just a lot of factors that comes in play when racing (shifting gears on time, driver, driving style, etc)

    :D

I don’t have a go pro or anything like that and I don’t mess around when I have a passenger but I’ve done it a couple of different times with C7’s on the highway.

GoPros can be attached to literally anything nowadays..

guess this race never happened :P

for obvious reasons, I don't record nor will I provide any recordings of me doing stupid shit...especially not on a public forum, BUT, you're more than welcome to ride along someday ;) .

guess this race didn’t happen as well.. :P

i was expecting that he crashed in the ditch somewhere. :D As for your question... it might be possible.. but then again, it's all about the driver, no matter how much horsepower or torque each cars have.

But be safe out there! :)

I’ve never been to my agents office he comes to my house. You can’t beat that kind of service!

now, are you sure he's not your brother in law or something? 8o

When my Sling was hit by a drunk driver and totaled, I dealt directly with the carrier from the beginning. An agent never came into play. So if you're looking for responsiveness in a claim situation you should be looking at the insuring company, not the agent. Nationwide (my insurer) was excellent to deal with. Geico (the drunk driver's insurer) not so much.

NOW THAT IS HOW IT SHOULD BE! I've got my existing insurance agents who email me and leave me voicemail, but i don't have time for any of that. Sure, they may give me additional discount (military, member, etc), but if i have any problem with any of my toys. I talk to the carrier directly..

I had my wife call him not sure how many times she called but she said she had wasted enough of her time with him. I have been dealing with insurance companies here lately unfortunately. I have progressive and so far I have been happy they answer the phone and are quick to respond. My wife was in a accident a few weeks back. The other person was at fault. Her insurance was liberty mutual. She didn’t report the accident and refuses to return phone calls from her insurance company. They will not pay till they talk to her. So I am going through my insurance to get my car fixed. They are going after her and her insurance company. Just be sure whoever you go with make sure it’s someone who will be with you after an accident.

I was at that point too, but then I tried calling him, and he finally picks up. I'm not even sure if he even got the chance to go thru all his voicemail yet, but keep trying! Sorry to hear about your car, i hope your wife is okay. :(

I got the "just over $5K figure from the PA website for the basic auto trans install w/stick shifter and LED gear display. At $600, losing the CC to save some on the budget might be worthwhile. :D

i dont think its worth it getting the cruise control.. since most people here have that problem already when the break light went on. I don't usually daily drive my SS anyway, more like a weekend car.

actually the cruise control is additional $600. did you get that one as well @Choppa It says on the website the package is $4750 installed including labor and parts, wonder why @Choppa is lower than that...

i like the part where they offer paddle shifter! i don’t really care about the cruise control, but let’s be honest... who really uses them in SS?
