Bummer @Ruptured Duck!! No way, No how, is that even close to being considered fun in my book!! Hope they don't rape you on costs!!! We have a septic system as well, and they can be costly at times!!!
Oh, I popped a Thumbs Down just because it's a shitty deal for you...not to give ya a bad rating!!!

nope it is not. I marked the bungs last time I had an issue. Just finished digging the access holes to help reduce my cost. Hell might even pull the screen and clean it myself and just have them pump it. Should not have had to do this just yet. Was only three years ago it was last cleaned. Then again i do have 2 college kids living in the basement apartment. Hate this crap... confused-squared

well today has gone to shit already. Have to dig up the access ports for the septic tank!
    Damn screen is clogged.

Last time the pump truck almost ran me over. I'll post the story later with pics if I have them. Can prove Shit rolls down hill! 8|

its not fun without some type of diverter. I haven't personally used the double bubble but many think it's one of the better screen designs. I agree from a purely design standpoint. Last summer I made some small test diverters that I 3M tapped to the leading edges of the console pods in front of the driver and passenger seats. This really worked well to eliminate the full face blast but still allowed air flow for a pleasant 95+ high humidity day drive.

Can't freaking sleep because I fear the same damn scenario is going to play out. Polaris and the Dealer can't do anything until it fails completely .... And I'm freaking stuck somewhere. Come to think of it I don't recall ever getting my free roadside service notification. Love my wife but damnit if she wasn't the one that insisted on the freaking SL and that POS info system. Hell the first week the damn backup camera went up in a cloud of heat and smoke inside my garage. I just happen to be next to it when it happened. All the heat and smoke was inches away from the gas tank.
Just need to stop thinking about it.... Just pisses my off to no end.

Check engine pops up for all kinds of silly reasons....Play the radio with key inaccessory and the code may pop up. Last Spring I had 7 or 8 codes for playing the radio to long in accessory!!!!!!!!!! Code usually goes off the next time you cycle the modes...

Thanks @EjFord but this particular code is a bad one. Have had my share of random codes that you don't need to really stress about. This particular one shuts everything down as you accelerate into traffic. It could be very dangerous and and ends up killing the ECU. My SS was stuck at the dealer for last part of August into all of September last year and robbed me of good driving weather. They reluctantly replaced the ECU and everything has been fine but it looks like it pops up about every 3500 to 4000 miles. Going to disconnect that wonderful stereo to see if it could be he problem. Unfortunately they want do anything until it dies completely again and Im stuck god knows where. I have a little experience with code 0656200. Best hope you don't get it because it eventually kills things.

@NatomasSlingshot1 hate to here that..... Just don't want to go through that same crap again. They never found the cause other than possible the ECU being bad. I agree that the odds of two bad ECU's is slim. At 7000 miles it's a little less than when it happened before but not by much. First thing is to disconnect everything I have done and reinstall the Stock intake. They tried to say it was the CAI last time and didn't want to cover it under warranty. @Wrenchmn I did use the Canton guys but I'm gonna try the India - Slingshot dealer that's open in Cumming GA. They are unfortunately owned by the same parent company but the guys seam to know a little more.

Here is a comment I made back in August of last year. Dealer had my SS for over a month until they agreed it was the ECU. Link to the thread.... Hope it works.
well it doesn't .... Go figure. Basically she dies pulling out into traffic and goes into limp mode. Turn her off , let sit for a minute and re-crank.

Anyway damn thing tripped again this afternoon. Right hand turn off the clutch and into the gas. Same damn thing as last year. It progressively got worse and was rather dangerous pulling out into traffic. I'm at a loss for words if I have to go through this same damn shit again.

5V grounding ... If you look at the GM OBDII conversion it's an issue with the ECU. Didn't fix the problem last time until they replaced the unit. Now I have to wonder if there is anything causing the failure. Only things electrical I have modded were LED driving lights ran through the factory location with correct relay and switch, and the resent switch to low volt for turning off the factory driving lights with engine running.

@Ruptured Duck when is the top reveal? Its been months since your patent submission.

ok... Yes it's been a little time but I had to go back and redesign some stuff before submitting the paperwork. This required me to have to redraw all the required artwork for the submission PDFs. Add to this work that has gotten in the way a little so there ... I suck but I blame @Bill Martin.... grin-squared ... He made me change things for the better. If you look at my Avatar there is a little teaser there.

If it's hot where you are you need to go either short Madstad or the double bubbles.

@Cameron Roberts you made me remember the test I did last summer. I removed my stock Polaris W/S and made small aluminum diverters that I placed at the very top of the two dash pods. They worked great to divert enough air from your helmet and keep you really comfortable in the heat. I need to explore that idea a little further... Real cheap to.
