As someone who practiced law for 40 years it boggles the mind that a person picked to be a Federal Judge cannot answer a simple question that every first year law student would be able to answer. Biden is dumbing down the judiciary and this country will pay a dear price, I am totally saddened that competence is no longer a criteria in this woke disaster

WTF?? We already know the government has been using the dumbing down and indoctrination in education to achieve their goals. How in the hell can a person be considered for a federal judgeship not know the difference between a stay and an injunction. I would be the first to say I’m not the greatest legal mind, however, once upon a time you had to know this in and out as a first year law student. Here is food for thought — if the Biden administration places a federal judge that doesn’t know the law — how can they preside over complex governmental cases applying the law. Could they be just another Democrat lackey to decide in favor of whatever Democrats want?? If we don’t stop all this nonsense this will not be a nail in the coffin of America - Land of the Free but rather a spike!! -
we live in Citrus County, Florida and expect a CAT 3 hurricane to arrive Tuesday afternoon until Thursday. This is serious and pray those in bullseye of the storm surge which could get to 11 feet will evacuate and save their lives. Praying for all those impacted. Just got notice to expect a CAT3 hurricane

The Special Counsel Indictment has been unsealed. There are 37 counts. We should all read it before anyone goes off the deep end. There is also a presser that will be held by Special Counsel Jack Smith around 3 PM to give a statement on the indictment.
I have reviewed the entire Indictment. As a former Federal Prosecutor I find it quite troubling and compelling. Would anticipate that the alleged co-conspirator will make a deal to testify against Trump which most likely will seal the deal of a conviction. Trump’s own words are used against him regarding intent and that is strong evidence. A sad day

I think it is a toss up - this Judge is definitely not impressed by the DA’s case presentation so it is possible - IMO the more likely outcome is a hung jury. With all the media bias against Rittenhouse and the defense putting on a much better case than the prosecution - I don’t think you will get 12 people to agree on a verdict either way. What you think??
I agree with your assessment but in my heart would love to see a not guilty verdict or the Judge declare a mistrial with prejudice for the prosecutorial misconduct

Just watched for an hour or so. The kid did good. If no conviction for major crimes it will be interesting to see the reaction of the public. I want to see the reaction of the LLM and their unfounded previous statements.
I am a former Federal Prosecutor and a defense lawyer for forty years. The kid did well testifying and clearly established a basis for self defense. The prosecutor has drawn the ire of the judge for unethical behavior which will not serve him well. The video I saw of the incident supports the defense of self defense.

I was just floored!! A BLM spokesman said the looting in Chicago was justified because they needed to feed and clothe they families and Gucci, Nike, etc have insurance. I was coincidentally a Federal Prosecutor in Connecticut and know John Durham. As tough and honest a prosecutor anyone could ever find. I would not predict his time line but I can assure you that if he concludes that probable cause exists to prosecute FBI individuals for criminal,conduct, he will not hesitate to go to a Federal Grand Jury for Indictment. His judgment will not be impacted by politics
