Well what does everyone that is going to be there think about Saturday May 21st at Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet? Can meet there around starting around 12:30 and eat at 1:00. If you can't park directly in front of the Dead Dog there are plenty of spots across the street and along side Dead Dog. After lunch if you want to take the Slings next door to the church lot overlooking the Inlet we should be able to get a pic of all the Slings together. The Inlet makes a great back drop pic for our rides.

Sounds good to me, but it is going to be crowded.

Some people have had a problem with leaks around the stock hose clamps. Take a better look at the location of the leak before you move the SS the next time. Drivers side sounds like you might have moved the top radiator hose on the install of the CAI. Good Luck

Yep Coastal has had about 5 to 6 new Slings sitting out front all week.

Jason said another dozen for bike week. We stopped in last Friday 2 Red -- 2 White -- 1 Silver -- 1 black. He said that they had 6 available for sale. They have sold right at 300 total since day one, all up and down the East coast. Just left the dealer 27 Slingshots on site for sale. One blue SS sold and one is still available, but they have not received the blues yet.

Looks like the same switch Slingmods has been selling. Single pole double throw. For those that do not know the center is the hot and the two outside post are for any two items you you want to power up with the same power supply. But it is either one or the other ( NOT AT THE SAME TIME )

I live here so I will be there every day. Back in the good old days before Myrtle Beach screwed it up, for me before I retired Thursday's was North Myrtle, Friday's was Barefoot landing, Saturday was for Murrel's Inlet. I did this every year left the house early to avoid the traffic and stayed in each area all day. Now I spend most of my time in the South End area except Thur. and Fri. This past fall rally there was nothing going on anywhere, very very few vendors at all. Give me a shout out if you are coming. Oh, I forgot Coastal Victory/Indian, Polaris is trying to cover them up with Slingshot's for bike week to sell.

Anyone going to Myrtle Beach Bike Week, I am thinking of going from May 19 -22 and was wondering if your going, what dates and where are you staying.... would love to meet up with everyone.... I'm either staying at a condo in Surfside or a hotel in Mount Pleasant to avoid the Sunday bottleneck on 501 going home....

For those people leaving Myrtle Beach it is best to take 17 south to Hwy. 521 in Georgetown. It is a little out of the way for some, but if you would rather sit in traffic have at it. More and more people that come to Myrtle Beach a lot have figured this out. @Bubblehead could be half way home by the time he got out of the traffic if he did this.

We will probably wind up with the slingmods racks before its all said and done... still I need to know, that theres an absolute NEED for it, like i cant survive without it kinda thing...lol 700+ dollars PLUS whatever matching bags.... im going to try to live without this one... but it may end up being as necessary as toilet paper.... X/

There are plenty of options out there for the luggage racks, just look at what other people have done and go from there.

Can only speak for the $149 Slingshot jacket. Normally I wear the small jackets and the mediums are sometimes cut small enough for me. With these jackets I cannot get into the small at all. I can just barely get in the medium. The large fits me. The moral of this short story is, these jackets are cut extremely small. 5 foot 6 inch 150 lbs.

I had a V65 Saber - it had the most torque of any of the 15 bike's I had. It was stolen while in storage and I was deployed. I only got the weight value from insurance. I've casually been looking around for another one. Or any Kawi 2 cycle triples. I crashed the ones I had. High sided both. I got off and only the bikes were totaled. Young and reckless you only get once!

I had one of the first V-65 Magna's sold in Charleston. Fastest's bike out there for about 2 years. Factory Hot Rod, it was also a good touring bike for me. That was my last motorcycle vacation 1,800 miles in 9 days until the Slingshot. It would smoke the tire right on thru 3 gear.
