I had the center lights and the canadian on the stock relay, within 5 minutes with the HID's on high the relay would over heat and start going on and off. This was the same morning that I went to DDM to meet @rabtech - @Wrenchmn - @MACAWS when I got back to Georgetown I ordered the LED's for all 6 lights.

if this is the case then those canadian lights are most likely on same circuits as US headlights then
Yes, as far as I know. I also know that the relay will not support 4 HID lights on high beam.
-
i know from factory the plugs/connectors are already there. are those canadian lights on the same circuits as headlights or fog lights?
The fog lights are separate. If you had the headlight recall done on a 2015 the six headlights should be on two separate relays. I do not know about the newer models.

Booked an appointment for Saturday March 25th to get laser alignment done on my SS today. Gong to Interstate Cycle (thanks for the suggested location @FunCycle)!
*And while I know the latest recall will ultimately yield this alignment useless, I do need some comfort in knowing that my baby can roll true again. Just wish I could have gotten a quote (their service manager was on vacation).
Let the laser alignment be the last so you do not have to pay twice. Or take it to the Interstate Cycle to take care of the problem with the front end.

I had to sell off my motorcycles years ago, I did not know how to slow down so I just sold the bikes. I need to slow down again this time without selling the SS.
-
@FunCycle - perhaps you could put together a little seminar for teaching us slower ones a few tips that make you so fast!!!
Brenda says it is called "No Fear" she did call it something else also that was not as nice.

For those of you that have noticed their isn't a ride with me leading at light speed during the Smokies event. It's ok... I chose to not lead this year.
This year I wanted to enjoy the rally just like you all do. So I decided to just unoficially let people follow me the day I ride. I will still be making my Skyway loop at lightning speeds. I don't know what day it will be but it will be at my normal "drive it like you stole it pace". And I'm sure that on one day I will run over to the gap and then over to Pigeon Forge and back.
Just catch up with me when you see me at the rally if you want to tag along and I'll tell you what time I'm going to head out each day. I will be taking my time in the mornings and eating breakfast so it won't be super early.
Just remember I don't go to look at the trees and scenery. I go to haul ass and have a safe and fun time. Lots of people have ridden with me and they will probably tell you that I wait on everyone at all the turns. So it's not impossible to keep up. Just don't overdrive your abilities and your comfort level and we will all have fun.
I will be right there with you.

If you have any days when you are not on an organized ride touch base with us.We are venturing out on our own most every day, especially if you like fast pace.
Put me on that list for each day.

I have no way to easily validate this data so I’m sending it FYI.
Click on your state and if these figures are anywhere close to being accurate make sure your sitting down or at least holding on to something or someone:

The American public does not have a clue as to what is going on with this.

So we went to the St. Patty's Day festival in downtown Greenville yesterday. Pretty cool, even though it was cool and windy. Had a nice small-town feel to it. The parade was cool, a section of Ford Mustangs and a section of Mini's.....so it gave me an idea. I contacted the parade coordinator about having a selection of Slingshots in the parade, and he is initially interested! So, the question is, how many people might be interested? (Understanding, of course, it's a year away, and I don't know all the rules and requirements yet.) This is just the opening dialogue.
Sooooo..... @Bubblehead? @ericastar76, @Sideslinger, @Lorge, @Dave@DDMWorks, @Jeff@DDMWorks
I know @sideseatdriver is down, because she's the one who suggested it.
Would be interested in knowing who all might come play. Spread the word!
Well, we know there are more than 10 SlingShots around Greenville because we had 8 from the area and @EjFord and myself from out of the area at Cherokee Cycles last year

WHAT? We are getting in the $1,500 range now for the whole works
-
I've followed you on the tail of the dragon Bill. It's about time you you decided to haul ass
Yea! I have been wondering why he even got a turbo. When you ride around in 5th gear all of the time.
-
Well, the important part is that you make it to Maggie.
-
Is it possible to just purchase when we show up? I forgot how to write checks so it's easier to just pay at the event.
That is what I am planning on doing, I did the e-mail thing also.
-
Rain and 38 degrees, snowing within 60 miles around us
-
And that is why you will be doing mine in Maggie. The older I get the shorter my patience for stuff like this
-
I definitely heard gumbo.....!

Easier to use a tracking collar
