@'dangervdarrell' It takes me several hours to cut the pods so that everything fits perfect... However I would trade with you if that works for you.... Basically I would just take your pod and hand you these already loaded with the two sets of speakers and the speaker hookup ready to plug in. It would be wired up inside the box so that the single speaker plug would be 2ohm ..... Let me keep surfing and getting my ducks in a row....

    Sounds good to me.

Hey Rab, just let me know what I need to bring tool wise, how long an install will take (happy to help or do it myself while there), and how much money I need!
I have the new factory radio in and the new head unit should be here before Eureka. I was looking into installing an amp and seeing how well the factory system would work with it but I have not installed a stereo in 40 years. Got too lazy and just started buying upgraded sound systems when buying my vehicles. The Polaris system really needs some work.

I ordered the black one with the small logo on the front and large on the back in 2XL. Sizes seem to run a little large. Seems I will need it in XL. No need to ship one right now. If you can make Eureka I'll just take care of it then. Really like the neon yellow so I will be getting at least one of those and probably some others too. Thanks!
Also, I texted Allen to check his PM's.

Rab, shouldn't be any problem if you bring shirts! I'm going to need some more (and possibly trade one that I ordered too large) and I'm sure people will want shirts to change into. I think the ones Allen is supplying will be a little smelly if people wear them for two or three days! ;(

Polaris gave me a new radio due to bluetooth cutting out and couldn't change to radio whenever this happened until I caught it when the connection kicked in. I told them I thought it was the head unit (it's two parts) because the buttons wouldn't work most of the time. Now have bluetooth most of the time but still cuts out. Also, still can't get the buttons to work unless I move them around and move them just right. Plan to put in a new system this winter but I'm letting Polaris fix this first.

Ok, this isn't an exciting location but I drove to OKC today to take my cousin with cerebral palsy for a ride in the Sling. He had a great time and was excited and laughing the whole ride! Sometimes we forget how to enjoy life!

Rode from Rogers AR to OKC and back. Went to see my Dad & Mom and my Uncle,Aunt & cousin who had come in from GA. My cousin has cerebral palsy and I took him for a ride in the SS. He was laughing and excited all the way. :D My sister took him for a ride yesterday in her GT-350. He said the SS was more fun. My sister said she was going to have to give him another ride to try to convince him her's was more fun. Good luck with that!

You might just have my answer I need then. Any chance you noticed a jack in the back of the stereo for an input from XM Radio? It is the same jack as found on a headset.
No sense in ripping this out if there isn't one there.

Wasn't paying a lot of attention to jacks since I was trying to see how quickly I could change it. There is a very large jack on the top that all the wiring plugs in to. Interestingly, there was another large jack hole on the side that was uncovered on my old one but had a cover on the new one. The only other obvious plug in was for the antenna.
I also put some insulation in front of the radio to try to keep some of the heat off it.
It's really pretty easy to get to the radio. I would just pull it out and look the thing over. Also, the two plugs on the monitor can be plugged in wrong. If the screen doesn't come on, just plug the into the other holes. There are two holes with a one prong plug and two with a two prong plug.

Radio is simple removal. Undo the 4 screws and face plate comes off. Then you just pull unit (can't remember if any screws behind face plate?). Everything unplugs easy....

I put in a better internal antenna, but it did squat. I just use my ipod now

    Good luck

Actually that just removes the screen. The radio itself is further into the hole. Two bolts hold it in on the bottom of the unit. It gets all the heat from the engine compartment because there is no insulation between it and the large hole going into the compartment. Polaris got my replacement radio to me today and I replaced mine myself while at the dealer. Didn't realize until then that there were two parts to the radio. Very tight in there too but I replaced the unit in just under twenty minutes. Dealer was impressed.

Let me start off by saying I own my own business and would never ship a product with the attitude of ,you can send it back. That send a signal to me , we will do minimum and no big deal if it gets sent back. So here is the story . Took about
    .........
PS I have their windshield and it is perfect

I wanted this top but It kind of looks like Polaris built it ;(
