Spoke with Polaris- only took them 7 1/2 hours to call me back.
Don't want to like your postings, but it is info and I thank you for that. Hoping you get that smile back soon!

The front of our Slings look nice. Even the side looks nice. But the back looks terrible. Other than putting a body kit or a fender on, what else have you done to make the back look more stylish?
Bilstein red coil-over, Fab Factory E-brake cover, customized stock belt guard, Metrics Sling Wing, Hugger Fender, and plate relocator. And, of course, a large Optima yellow top battery. If your not out front, what's behind doesn't matter...

Just stand across the road from the big billboard that reads.... Eat mor chiken.

It is Irohazaki Road in Japan.
So, that's like what, three-and-a-half hours from here?

Resorting to counterfeiting... Where does the insanity stop?

That can't possibly be me ... That bottle still has beer in it.
Saw this and chuckled... just because it's a beer bottle and open does not mean the content is beer. Never pick up a warm bottle... and never take your eye off your beer. -
Winston County? Well that explains everything!

@NatomasSlingshot1 Great news! Hope you regain your sanity soon.

Someone misses the dark side...

Not all of us can be like you @rabtech. A lot of us still need a short bus to get around.

wish i could mount a 50 Cal on the rear deck of the SS, then people would stop
or front end with phosphorous rounds. Oh yeah, people would stop! -

As to how it happens, dissimiliar metals, condensation....
Best bet, after cleaning it up, dielectric grease during assembly and a thin coat on post and clamp...
And if you don't happen to have that available, any axle grease will do but apply a nice gob to post and clamp after assembly to cover exposed metals. -
ok guys help me out....I'm a little mechanical, don't get to hasty about things in my old age and I like to understand the whys of the what I'm doing. Enlighten me on changing the gear oil and if the bolts were not tight wouldn't I hear or feel it. Stick with me thru my ignorance please. I'm gonna do all this but just wanna understand.
All these other folks could be right and the transmission may need tear down. I was providing information from the manual on single gear scrubbing.
As for the why for... A loose shift plate can cause the shift fork to bobble or not go full travel... Loose transmission to engine mount bolts can cause misalignment of shaft and/or improper operation of clutch... and lubrication is what it is... insufficient, improper, or low levels can cause immediate or long term problems. As for whether or not you would feel it...
Story time. Had a truck driver come in one night complaining of scrubbing two gears, since it was a low/high range manual, that made it a one position shift. Asked him if we needed to take a look at it and he said no, had been a long day and maybe he was just tired. Next day, same driver out for deliveries when we got a radio call. He was downshifting and was unable to get any gear from neutral. So he coasted to a spot to park. Long story short, five of six bolts from transmission to engine were gone. He never felt a thing...A mechanic is what he is. If you don't take the time to check to your ability, how do you know if he is treating you right.

...and now a word from Debbie Downer...

Obama speaking, "I only pull my head out at parties, it's the only time I don't have to smell my own sh*t."

A couple of physical checks you can run... to rule out some other factors..
As @rabtech said, change out fluid, but check fill level to insure full. Peel back your shift boot and underlying tranny shift rubber cover and check the shift lever plate four bolts are tight. Check transmission to engine mount bolts for any loose bolts.

I really like the Sling on there!
I personally like the lined out versions on 3 and 4. It seems that some of the detail gets lost in the filled in versions. I also prefer smaller logos/wording on the front with the larger stuff on the back. I think people feel awkward reading stuff on your shirt when they know you can see them staring at you, or reading your shirt.
Agree with @TheRock. If I am gonna be a target, I don't want to see it coming... -
Here is my recipe...
1. Called @Noel Hughes
2. Drove to Cycle Springs
3. Picked up a bad ass set of seats!
That would be the almost "No muss, no fuss" method with the added bonus of trip in the Slingshot. But, the old seat package is rather large when bundled up... Did they make the trip back with you?
