I'd also like to say that Henry and Alpha have been good to me and our group in Houston, I've communicated with him via Facebook messenger several times in the past couple of months. Sometimes he's slow to respond, but it's understandable, so I'm definitely against any type of CA lawsuit, especially since it will most likely only hurt everyone in the end (except the lawyers, like @Gadgeteer mentioned).

HOWEVER - I do believe that SOME communication is better than NO communication... even if it's just to say, "Hey guys, we appreciate you and understand your concerns, we don't have a solution at this time, but we are working on something."

@Storm, depends what the issue is. Mine was actually a broken weld. I don't think that's normal. What are you seeing?

My rattle happens when I let off the gas at low speeds, almost like a hiss, loud when I first let off the gas, only lasting about a second or two, gradually getting quieter. Very consistent. The sound comes from inside the muffler, nothing loose on the outside, everything that I can see and touch is nice and snug. Very annoying, but I love the overall sound, so I don't want to change it, just want to fix the rattle. I guess I may just have to take off the variable controller part and have a peek around in there, but that makes me a little nervous, without knowing exactly what I'm looking for, or if I need to align something to put it back together.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe some photon torpedoes with flashing LEDs to simulate fire? Perhaps a couple dummy exhaust tips to simulate a 4 into 4 exhaust? How about a candy launcher for parades? Smoke screen? The list goes on...

Being a part time ninja, I vote for the smoke screen. 8)

Didn't know that part. I have the variable. Already had to fix it once, but it was an issue with the flapper, vice body rattle. Guess I'll keep an ear out for that.

Hey @KayTwo any notes, pictures or a write up on how to fix this? I have the variable as well, rattles at low speeds. Henry mentioned something to me about taking the electronic part off and stretching out a spring or something, but I work better if I can see pictures or a video...

Did you get the warm and fuzzy feeling or not really?

Yeah, not really my style, looks a lot like a dune buggy and it's REALLY wide, but still cool since it's something you don't see too often. It'll be awesome to see them put some power behind it, now that they can actually put the power to the ground. I was just excited cause pictures of this thing are going around everywhere lately, and it's "home" is so close to mine. Since 3P specializes in off-road applications, I'd like to see them go really radical and put a lift kit, some knobbies, skid plates, and brush gaurds on it... with a camo wrap! lol

Love this idea, been wanting something like this for a while! I'll wait until some of you receive your first batches and post up some pictures. I would prefer a smooth finish, but this looks good too. If you want to sell them online, I'd gladly list it on http://www.SlingLife.net ... and I'll only mark it up 3 gajillion percent. Kidding. But nice work on this.

Hey, you're in my zip code! I'm near Barker Cypress and Spring Cypress, I drive a black one with red accents... if you ever need any help with those mods, let me know! I'm great at drinking beers and telling others what to do. Not sure if you're on Facebook, but we have an awesome local group on there. (Lookup Slingshot Houston or HTown SS Riders) We're doing a Poker Run ride to Lake Charles on October 14th. I run the http://www.slinglife.net website... Feel free to call me if you ever want to ride with someone, we get together quite often! 832-309-1531

I know a lot of you aren't on Facebook, but here's some quick notes on some future events in Texas coming up!

10-14-17 - Slingshot Houston / SlingLife Houston to Lake Charles Poker Run (Garage rooftop party if we meet the buy-in targets)

11-4-17 - Slingshot Houston / SlingLife Houston to Galveston - Meet at Mancuso Gulf Freeway for party then ride to Lone Star MC Rally

4-22-18 - Slingshots in the Texas Hill Country - Slingshot Roadsters Multi-Day Event

Can you guys please right a sentence or 2 about your experience. Polaris would like feedback from the attendees. Hopefully they will partner with us on more takeovers accross the country if feedback is positive. Thanks

Get em to help with Houston... we've been doing some badass events without any funds or help from Polaris... they help us out, we will set it off. Our local Polaris rep is Zach Brusse, I can get you his contact info if you don't have it already... let them know you're working with Storm and SlingLife to show even more strength and unity.

Soldiers! This is your Squad Leader speaking, listen up! Invading and taking over LaCenterra will not be an easy battle, but we will win this battle with loud music, bright lights, loud exhausts, and smiles and waves to the children!! To be effective, WE MUST STAY TOGETHER! When we start pulling into the LaCenterra area, there will be other cars trying to back out, trying to turn in-between our "Swarm of Slings" but we must try to fight them off if possible! We can double-up as we make our way around the loop (see the zoomed-in part of the map), and we may also have to run a slow rolling stop sign or two to keep us all together. It will be an amazing sight for the families and the drones if we can avoid other cars getting all up in our mix! One of our scouts has already talked to security and he does not foresee an issue, as long as we don't congest things for too long. (Thanks James Michael Economy) Prepare your chariots! Prepare your audio systems, your lights, and your mods! Saturday we invade! WHOS WITH ME!?!?!
