Here's your ground clearance. Not much.

I honestly believe that this picture doesn’t depict the ground clearance because of the angle that it was taken. Having side exit already I am thinking the bottom of the resonators are just above the frame. I would wait for more details before rushing to judgment.

Ok - I absolutely hate thinking I have to get rid of my beloved chrome pulley (many dollars) !!! Soooo I need some input from you metal experts. Would it be possible to remove the belt and use a dremel tool to just barely knock off the square ridge on each tooth. Will that damage the integrity of the pulley or cause me other problems?? Any input will be greatly appreciated

I don’t believe you could accurately machine the pulley with a dremel tool. It is something that a machinist could rework given the proper tooling. It would not effect the integrity of the pulley.

This is an All Things Chrome(ATC) pulley. There is a number of these pulleys out there. They are made from Billet Aluminum, much lighter than stock but had the wrong tooth profile. I purchased one used from a friend, noticed that the teeth on the pulley was showing wear when I determined that the profile was incorrect. This happen in the motorcycle world also. I hung it in the garage cause it’s purdy. This is the first belt failure I have heard of, I am sure more will follow.

Part of proper tire fitment is sizing the tire to the width of the wheel. Most manufacturers would say the upper limit for a 9” wheel would be a 275. This is also dependent somewhat on the sidewall height. If you want the best performance from your tire you do not want to oversized your tire. A good rule of thumb is to take the width of the wheel, add 1” then convert to mm for the width of tire. SL wheel is 9” plus 1” equals 10” convert to mm equals 244mm which would be a 255 tire.

Thanks for the shout out, but that wasn't me. I don't do mods, much less imagine new ones. All my mods were either gifts or done at gunpoint.
Someone more worthy than I deserves that mention, and didn't get it.

I should never go on my memory! The credit goes to @gearhead after I did quick search. Thanks, I will go back and change the original post.

I was so happy to hear that you sold out of all your hood pins Phil. To even take a pair off your own ride to make a customer happy is the kind of service provider I like to support. I can't wait to see them on my ride this fall

Honestly I was surprised at the demand, I brought more product with me than I installed last year and sold out by Friday! I am looking forward to what is next for yours.

Well I went for a spin tonight, the front deflectors keep doing a great job by the prototype rear did not fair so well, at least not at the speeds I was running. I also had the shocks almost all the way down runnin about 2 1/2” of ground clearance. The prototype just didn’t give enough air flow in this situation.

Some pics of the front deflectors, I have not cleaned the wheels for three weeks

A huge shout out to everyone who bought raffle tickets and participated in the auction to donate all the proceeds to Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. A very special shout out to “Pay it Forward” @Painter who donated many of his pieces to the auction. I was fortunate to get a winning bid on a beautiful set of Carbon Fiber Humpless Inserts. Very happy to give to such a cause. These special pieces will never be sold as I am only a curator until I will donate them for fundraising again!

While in Maggie Valley this year I received a notice from the IRS for additional monies and penalties from 2016. Just spent the last 5 hours filing amended returns for both the 2016 and 2017 tax years. The letter from the IRS was quite a shock but after getting through the amended returns I feel pretty good about the mistakes, I just hope the IRS agrees and the penalties are kept to a minimum.

I really have better things to do!
