OK... talked to most everybody on the list yesterday, waiting on the call back from the zipline company, looking for a trout fishing venue now for our lil core group of riders who like to do outdoorsy stuff and ... the T-shirts are here!!!! The one off bags are coming and the buffs are on their way and the special Three's da Life! Buffs are in production in Norway.... really? I know, but that is where they are made, global economy and all that stuff!

Plus. I'm making banners, signs and decals for the smokies starting tonight.... I'm gonna be tired!

@gpcustoms is da man! He lives the Life to the fullest! We will miss him in the Smokies, but look forward to seeing him on the road during August and September on his Lap of America!And really look forward to getting back together after that for some Florida riding time!

I practiced my first run with the bags for the trip, all has worked well so far, new clothes from under armour work well, the bags stayed put and the bike ran well, tracker worked well, stephen was able to guide me in just by watching my tracker, so all looks good for august 18th!

It is a good possibility that the ride launch party is a go, just a few more details and I think next week we will be able to put the details out there. And a s you guys and gals know, there will be fun gifts and prizes for those of you who show up, I am on the hook here to provide show quality SlingShots as well as our everyday drivers, so please, lets be getting the word out there to those trailer queens! I gotta have at least 20 to 30 Slingshots show up for this ride around Jacksonville to the new dealership!

Jamie Roy just let me know that he went by the hospital, but that Pam was resting and the nurses shooed him away for now, but he will go back later and visit with her. She has been on line and she is aware of this forums out reach to her and her family and I think she does appreciate it. I also think we need to give it a bit more time before we start the "what caused this to happen" talk since Pam has just lost the love of her life and she is still trying to heal up herself. suffice it to say that the accident was severe and I don't think seatbelts or helmets were to blame or at fault, the accident was that bad!

I sent what I could there Robert. I too am so sad to have Jim gone from our lives, and I pray that Pam will gather her strenght and be able to move ahead and enjoy life to the fullest.... just as Jim would want her too!

Jamie Roy, a close friend of Jim and Pam's, received this text from Jim's Mother.....

Jamie I saw your post on FB. Thank you! I am Jims mother. He and Pam shared stories of their trips and talked about you and Chris. I am devastated and beyond heartbroken but am trying to stay strong for Pams sake. My baby is gone. I know Jimmy would want me to take care of Pam now. I can't do anything else for him. Pams parents can't be with her right now so I am with her in the hospital. When I get her home we will have Jimmys funeral. Pam has fractured ribs, had a collapsed lung, has a chest tube. Has a fractured heel and bruised up pretty bad. Her pain isn't quite controlled yet. She is at St. Mary's Hospital. They were traveling to Ohio to her sisters graduation. Came around a curve in their slingshot and there was a car or truck sitting in the road. He swerved into the grass and she woke up here. Jim was dead at the scene....just wanted to share with you what has happened. Thanks again!

Just reminds us all that when we are out enjoying our unique and wonderful rides, you never know what might be around that corner, please stay vigilant folks and stay safe in your travels.

Just heard from Pam, she is hurting really bad right now, not sure if it is the physical pain or the loss of Jim, most likely both, but She wanted everybody to know that she appreciates all of the thoughts and prayers! And I know we all want to know what happened.... I think it is too soon to ask those questions right now, it was in the SlingShot, it did flip, it killed Jim and injured Pam very badly, that is all I know, as I learn more, i'll try to let you know.

Just was on Pam's FB page, she posted 2 hours ago that they had put a cast on her leg, not sure how bad everything else is, I'm not able to post on Jim's brothers page, but I did tell Pam that we all are thinking of her and Jim.

Jim and Pam Mosbey were in a very bad accident and Jim was killed. Pam is in critical condition. I just had booked Jim and Pam for the Zipline ride in the Smokies and Jim and Pam both were so excited to be seeing everybody again and we even talked about doing the KeyWest Ride in October.

I know with all of the drama lately with the forum, we might tend to forget that there are real folks out there that we have made friends with over the last 2 years and there are real world consequences to what we do every day.

Hopefully Pam will be able to recover from her injuries and I hope to get to talk to her real soon. For those of us who got to meet @lostnparadise , we got to meet two truly in love with each other folks and two Great Sling Shot folks. May God bless their souls!

I'm hoping that ALL of you who go on the Friday Zipline ride up at SSITS get to have the same thrills and chills we had today here in Florida! I think the photo says it ALL!

We will have to wait till @MACAWS gives his approval, since he was the first owner to come up with the decal idea and it's his design until he gives me the go ahead, but as soon as he does, I'll be glad to make you one!

We are in the process of re-planning the ride, but I can say that it will happen, it will be sponsored by HoleShot Power Sports in Fleming Island , Florida. We will need to have a strong showing of support from the SS community, I would need at least 20 slings to be there ready to ride for the day and it will end at the Dealership with a nice BBQ dinner. so keep the day in your plans please!!

Don't forget, the Three's da Life Crew will be going Coast to Coast , From Jacksonville Beach Pier to the Santa Monica Pier from the 18th of August till the Start of the Road Rally when we will meet up with @ivor and the gang in Auburn for the start of his ride! Cannot wait to hit the road and just be "HOGS WILD"! @Funinthesun ,@toobad4u & brother and ME! I guess we will be the 5 amigos!? Five?... Plus Mrs @Funinthesun is coming and is having to babysit the whole gang.... I'm glad shes coming, but she might get sick of the testosterone pretty quick!
