  • Sundre Slingfest 2019 - Who's going?

    Thanks for posting Doug I can use all the help I can get. Planning pretty much been sucking up all my time. Gonna have to try rectuit some people to help me out for next year. Just a ton of work for just 2 of us. Not sure how to proceed there. I have a few ideas but will have to wait until after the event.

    I will always recommend you communicate with whoever is working on your slingshot to let them know not to mess with it. This is there as a second line of defence or just to remind them after having a conversation about it.

    Well well well... with fathers day this weekend first I'd like to wish all the fathers out there a very happy fathers day. My Bbq pretty much packed it in this year and needed to be replaced. So I pretty much knew what my fathers day present would be. The old Bbq for fathers day. I tried to be excited about it lol. Well I couldnt have been more wrong Shawna did pick up a Bbq yesterday in town. Little did I know of the sneakery going on behind the scenes tho. So last night she hands me an envelope and says this is your real fathers day present. I open the envelope and......
    Its plane tickets hotel reservations and pretty much everything you could think of for the slingshot homecoming. I just sat there completely stunned. So many emotions filled me hard to put it into words. Here is this amazing group of people that I know in the slingshot community that I will finally finally get to meet. Along with some others that I have met. All of whom gladly helped Shawna for me. Even arranged for me to have my own slingshot to drive while I'm there. I feel totally spoiled and so excited I may not sleep until I leave. To all those who helped her and theres a few of ya a huge thank you. And my sneaky wife.... there really are no words to describe the love I have for you💕💕💕. SundreSlingQueen Slingshot homecoming in Huntsville Alabama who's going to be there This Guy!!! Still cant believe it I'm totally in shock 😁😁😁.

If you can work this into your schedule, it is a great time with great people and scenery!

  • Alpha Turbo exhaust replacement options

    The ZZP turbo and the Alpha turbo side exit have different outlets and locations and are not interchangeable. Anything could be made to work with enough time though ;)

    Thanks Dave!! Someone just offered up a used one for me. Just may take him up on it. Might be the best solution short term. I imagine the same thing will happen tho so a bit worried there. But would buy me some time. Still leaves me with what am I gonna do when that one fails. Wish there were more options available. In hindsight would have been better to go with a different system. But who knew. I've had zero issues but when stuff breaks it's nice to have some sort of lifeline.

  • Alpha Turbo exhaust replacement options

    Well my luck finally ran out with my Alpha side exit. Thought maybe I was one of the lucky ones who got a good one. Did get some years outa it tho do better than most I guess:(

    So now what I'm just at a total loss as to what to do. I have an Alpha turbo setup. Had other plans for the sling this year. looks like my only option is welter. Not crazy about thier side exit at all. And the duals are cool but the price is 2245.00 (theres a 300 dollar premium for alpha turbo). That's just over 3000.00 Canadian plus shipping and brokerage which will be a bunch more. Just cant justify 4 grand for an exhaust. Getting close to another turbo system there lol. Anyways I guess my question is has anyone else done anything else and what did you do. Totally gutted right now exhaust was the last thing I wanted to be worried about right now. Any help is appreciated.

    The smaller emblem was a bonus for being the first run of a new product. There's a bunch of places they can go. Windshield tailfin not 100% sure but the small one might fit under your backup camera.

    Got me thinking now.

    Maybe we should have a contest for best emblem placement...

    Like on your neighbors Ford emblem. Lol^^

    It was actually a blessing in disguise. I will be making the regular emblem with no name. And prob a group buy for personalized ones. It did however get them out so you can all talk up the quality because you already have one. This helps me. Like Mitch said more impressive in person. Super happy your all digging them. It will be the larger of the two tags that I will be selling.:) Pretty excited about it.
