    So here's the thing, I didn't think of it until I read this.

    Not one bug on my SS from this entire trip! The Maine Coast and it's ocean breeze is probably why.

    Black Fly season in Maine is usually in late May and June.

    It's worse in upper state NY.

    Rode my ATV in Tug Hill for a weekend, and those flies were the worst I've ever seen!!

    Up there, cows outnumber people like 5 to 1 or more!!

    I will assume that might explain the bugs!!

    (Now, should we talk about your air quality?)

    Heading to York Beach Maine tomorrow morning. 4 hours of back road bliss! Spending the night in York, then heading back. Gonna hang out with my son Kyle from South Carolina for the day. He's up there for the week with his wife's family.

    (So any of you Maine guys, if you can think of a nice ride up there please tell me!!)
