I looks good, but a little crowded IMHO.
Display MoreOK. Should I start posting memes to get my point across..???
Happy Birthday @ShutterBug!!!!!!
Or you use this one, it will charge you.
Display MoreI know the Alpha SC is maxed out but our Rotrex SC is far from it. We start you out with about 280 hp and can ramp it up to the 350 range. And when this supercharger runs out ( your engine will give up before the SC will ) we can build you a stronger engine, bolt a larger rotrex unit in the exact same place, and without changing any of the original SC kit, shoot for the moon !!
Cams + Supercharger = Happiness
Granted this dyno run was with the supercharger on a Stock engine with our new cams. But it was only at 10.5 PSI of boost.
I don't mean to sound too defensive here but its friday and I am all hopped up on coffee this morning.
Supercharging the Scion FR-S With Jackson Racing | Speed Academy
Our Rotrex superchargers come to us from Jackson Racing. These superchargers are torture tested and used in racing all over.
Here are some quotes from the rotrex and vortech websites.
Rotrex: Rotrex A/S
"Rotrex dates back to the early 1970's when Anders P. Kolstrup - today Technical Director - being a passionate race driver, was continuously looking for improvements in engine development and performance. In 1996 the first patent was issued, followed by a string of international patents granted."
Vortech: About Us – Vortech Superchargers
"Founded in 1990 by Jim Middlebrook, Vortech Engineering, Inc. engineers efficient, high technology air management solutions for automotive, marine, industrial, aeronautical, and other motorsports applications. Since our inception, Vortech has been on the cutting edge of centrifugal compressor design technology, owning several patents, and winning numerous design awards, SEMA “Best New Product” awards, and countless racing championships in all manner of sanctioning bodies all over the world. "
Now as always its different strokes for different folks so you do what makes you happy. The Rotrex supercharger kit we designed for the slingshot is the most efficient, coolest running kit out there. And we have done a lot of research and testing to be absolutely sure of this.
I think around 280 -300 Hp range, What is needed to get a stock engine with cold air intake and 320 exhaust manifold up to this???
What a great Family, you would have to look far to find a Forum like ours and not find one.
I'd go with a DDM supercharger if I had it to do all over again.
That's what I'm leaning toward so far.
Display MoreI might be biased, but just saying.......
Oh come on, what do you think I am going to say.....
320 to 360HP safely on a unbuilt motor.
I was one of the first to install the DDM SC back in July. I have been driving it hard, bouncing it off the rev limiter at 7300 RPM and smiling the whole time.
For me, you have to ask yourself what kind of money do you want to spend to get the reliable power level you want.
PM me with your phone number and we can talk.
so what do you run. I'll send you a PM
@mytoy - I've heard a lot of good things about the SW 99 model, but I've never shot or held one. So you like it then?
Like you know I was for 4 years a drill instructor (not here) was in Germany in the 70's, but my handgun then can not compare to my SW. I still go to the shooting range , not so much anymore but I still hit my target's at a good distance.
So yes I love this one among a few other ones I own.
Toy dude! Thank you so much for the compliment.
Keep in mind that I will be attending with my lovely wife who will kill you first, then me, if a cigarette touches my lips. But I have not forgotten your generosity, and more importantly the excellent company of you and yours. Looking forward to seeing you again! And for the record, I did not smoke last time you saw me. Seriously. I beg you!
I expect we will stay again in the same hotel. Let's share a Weißbier or two or three or four. I'll buy. And provide PROPER glasses. We both know a proper pour, so no issue there.
You never inhaled... and yes I'll bring one or two Weißbier for you, because in my hole live I never had more then two "FIRST one and Last one" don't count the ones between
Not easy to carry but great.
@Gadgeteer has been contacted, and ask that I report him as likely to post.
Eric you dou your job well again, I hope you stay in the same hotel again so we can share a cigarette.
My Barbie told me if I save enough money that I can purchase a super or turbo charger. What I'm looking for is for power from the get go. I hope you guys and girls can chime in.
We are going to neurologist to see if it's viral meningitis. I don't think it is. But it's something they want to check because of the sore throat with blisters and the stiff neck and the persistent headache.
I keep my fingers crossed, and hope she feels better soon.
