Well you could ride over and we could put on the exhaust. Long as you don’t bring any corona with ya. Miami is a hotbed. It would take an hour to cool down after you got here though.

Great! Yea man it honestly wasn’t the best time to spend $650 but I couldn’t let it go. As soon as I saw it for sale I jumped on it! It’s also in almost like new condition.

Display MoreYes it is a newer version. No trans mount swap needed for you. THAT'S a BONUS!! If you get it all snugged up and find issues rubbing the rear tire, I'll link you to the fix. It is rare you will need it having a newer version. Good luck.
I found with the 2" exhaust that I loved the sound without baffles installed for short around town runs and car meets. But for 5+ hour distance runs, I chopped the baffles down to one inch and that was the trick. Reduced the sound by 20% and made it bearable. I never got an exhaust drone with either configuration.
For the record, my setup was cat-less and that is significantly louder that a WP dual rear with cat in line.
The version in your picture would retain the cat if I am not mistaken. If you attempt to punch out your cat in the garage... please note it is not a simple task. The guts are made of titanium and is tough to get freed from the walls.
According to SlingSC this one is the catless version? I really like it much better to be catless since i want it to be more aggresive. How easy are the baffles to put in and out? Just push in and remove etc?

The 2" is much easier to work with if you have a sling year that didn't require a trans mount swap. That is a royal PITA... Easier if you have a smaller cutoff wheel. You can do it with a typical 4" cutoff tool, but a pneumatic driven 2" is best.

Did you go with the 2 inch or 2.5 inch exhaust? The 2 is easier to install, no transmission mount fun. The hardest part of the install is getting it all routed down the tunnel correctly. The water pipe relocation plate is a bit tricky, it's hard to get in there to move it. Getting the old muffler out is challenging as well. I took my whole side off when I did mine, but Joey showed me that you can just remove the front half of the bolts, back to about the seat, and pry the side away enough to get the muffler out.
My advice, put a bit of lube on the pipes before inserting, makes it much easier to insert and move/adjust as needed. Don't put the clamps on until you get all of the pipes routed and where you want them, including the y-pipe.
I did my 2.5" install by myself, took about 8 hours, due to the learning curve. It was my 2nd big mod after I bought it, so was still learning the slingshot.
i got the 2”, apparently much easier to work with. It’s arriving tomorrow so we’ll probably give it a go this weekend. Gonna figure out how to lift the slingshot high enough (safely) to be able to work under it. The rest looks pretty straightforward on the install video they have on youtube. Im pretty excited, been wanting this exhaust ever since I got the bike 1 year ago.

I pulled the decals off of mine, why would you even leave them on. I also polished that last section of (Y) pipe and the exhaust tips, it took me around 8 hours to polish on a COLD winter day. Mine were some of the first installed in Maggie Valley by Jeff. The next day I talked to a couple that did not have the inserts installed and they said that after riding all day that they were too loud.
i wont lie i like the look of it with them decals on 👀. Im gonna try them without the db inserts first then if its too loud ill put them on. Really im more into aggresive sound so i think i’ll prefer without it.

Lol no worries! The only thing you can’t trust this forum for is saving you money! Quick question, i’ve noticed that some Exhausts have the side WP decals in red/white on the tips while others (like yours) do not. Do they come with the decals included in the package as optional ? Would really like to add the decals on the tips. See this pic

awesome. What should i expect? Ive read that there is much less noise inside the cabin except for the angle drive etc, also less heat. How loud is it at idle?

How come Russia & North Korea are totally free of Covid- 19??
Because they are staunch ally of China. Not a single case reported from these 2 countries. On the other hand South Korea / United Kingdom / Italy / Spain and Asia are severely hit. How come Wuhan is suddenly free from the deadly virus? China will say that their drastic initial measures they took was very stern and Wuhan was locked down to contain the spread to other areas. Why Beijing was not hit? Why only Wuhan? Kind of interesting to ponder upon.. right?
Well ..Wuhan is open for business now. America and all the above mentioned countries are devastated financially. Soon American economy will collapse as planned by China.
China knows it CANNOT defeat America militarily as USA is at present THE MOST POWERFUL country in the world. So use the virus...to cripple the economy and paralyse the nation and its Defense capabilities. I'm sure Nancy Pelosi got a part in this. . to topple Trump. Lately President Trump was always telling of how GREAT American economy was improving in all fronts. The only way to destroy his vision of making AMERICA GREAT AGAIN is to create an economic havoc. Nancy Pelosi was unable to bring down Trump thru impeachment. ....so work along with China to destroy Trump by releasing a virus. Wuhans epidemic was a showcase. At the peak of the virus epidemic. ..China's President Xi Jinping...just wore a simple RM1 facemask to visit those effected areas.
As President he should be covered from head to toe.....but it was not the case. He was already injected to resist any harm from the virus....that means a cure was already in place before the virus was released. Some may ask....Bill Gates already predicted the outbreak in 2015...so the chinese agenda cannot be true. The answer is. ..YES...Bill Gates did predict. .but that prediction is based on a genuine virus outbreak. Now China is also telling that the virus was predicted well in advance. ....so that its agenda would play along well to match that prediction. China,s vision is to control the World economy by buying up stocks now from countries facing the brink of severe ECONOMIC COLLAPSE. Later China will announce that their Medical Researchers have found a cure to destroy the virus. Now China have other countries stocks in their arsenal and these countries will soon be slave to their master...CHINA.Now here is an interesting conspiracy theory if you want:

once the hood is on its not that bad tbh. Most people dont redirect their attention to that area when they see the slingshot. Needless to say I probably should of gone with black horns
