That would make all my dreams come true.

Looks Like AOC is demanding a pay raise for Congress. They have to earn what they getting now before they get a pay raise. How about a pay cut?

The one problem I see for Slingshots in the rain is the rear wheel is in the oil soaked center of the lane. Most dangerous in light rain. Heavy rain will wash most of the oil off the center lane but it is still a lousy surface for traction. That is why I do not ride in the rain.

I just read two incredible stories on my E-mail. (1.) The Democrats want a pay raise of $4500. a year. (2.) Pelosi does not want to impeach Trump She wants to put him in jail instead. Can you believe the BS that comes from these Democrats.

Edward Neal I remember temps like that when I was in Hanford Ca. Stationed at Lemoore.

Well I can remember when politicks was almost an honest profession. You will notice I said almost. Politicians have never been totally honest, even with themselves.

The left wants higher taxes and a poor economy so they can keep more people on welfare and give illegals everything they want and to hell with US citizens. Also they have people in congress that have no business there. God help us if they get control in 2020. My 2 cents.

The closest thing I've ever had to my SS. I used to build Dune buggies an built one for myself called a Minnie T. I hopped the engine up to approx. 100 hp. I could pull the front end off the ground and hold it thru 3rd gear. It would do 103mph in a 1/4 mile. I also used to race Go Carts which was a lot of fun also. And going way back to my younger days My Dad and I started building Airboats here in Florida. I built my first Airboat in 1950. It wasn't much I used a 2 cylinder Aeronica engine on it. For My next one I got a 200hp Lycoming on a fiberglass hull. Now that one was exciting. My brother still builds Airboats in Floral City Fl. So you see I've done some exciting things in my life and I still get excited with my SS. It makes me smile.

Try those temperatures with 100 % humidity and you will have weather like Florida which is almost unbearable.

FunCycle Got my first 2 wheeler in 1951. A Cushman Eagle. That's when I fell in love with 2 wheelers. I can't name all the motorcycles I've owned but I enjoyed them all with one exception. A 1975 Harley Dyna Glide. It left a sour taste in my mouth because it spent more time in the shop than it did under me.

Edward Neal You just convinced me. I just Ordered it. I will post my likes and dislikes.

Aceman I rode motorcycles for over 60 years and had to give them up because they were getting to hard to handle. Right after I turned 82 I went for a test drive at my local Polaris dealership. I knew right away I needed the wind in my face again. I purchased My 2018 Sling on the spot. It is not my daily driver but I enjoy it as much as I did my motorcycles.

Edward Neal Yes the new T-top from allthingsslingshot. It seems to have all the features I desire and need. I think its the one for me.
-
Edward Neal I really like the way it tilts forward out of the way but my wife and I both need something for support while exiting. I am leaning strongly toward the T top.
-
wokka, That top looks promising not a lot of support though.

maverick5990 A top seems to be my next project. Haven't made up my mind yet as to which one to go to. I need one that let me get in and out with no problems. At my age that not an easy thing to do.

Went on a 130 mile ride today in the Florida heat. Couldn't get back home fast enough. Thought I was gonna have a heat stroke. My wife and I both are totally drained. Heat index is 104 to 106. I think I'll do my riding from 0800 to 1100 from now on. No more afternoon rides for me. A/C sure feels good. Hope you guys are having fun in the cool weather in Maggie Valley.

So far my only Mods are F4 windshield and PRP seats. Hopefully in the near future I will have a new top. After that is anybody's guess. Looks like I'm spending my retirement on toy's.

100 Degrees here in NE Florida with a heat index of 104. Just to hot to ride.

The 2015 Polaris Slingshot survey posited the expansion of the Slingshot family to include more than one model and engine/transmission options, IIRC.
Offering a V6 and automatic trans model, especially with a paddle-shifter for more shifting control might get me to buy a new model. With my Hahn Stage 2 turbo, the new models offer me nothing I really want/need. It would come down to how much I could get for my 2015 Slingshot either trade-in or private sale and how much my new monthly payments would end up being. Right now, if I were to win the lottery, I'd seriously look at an automatic transmission and possibly a Trakhamr 4-wheel conversion. I just can't shift as rapidly and smoothly as a modern automatic and the 4-wheel conversion would hopefully allow me more control so I don't just sit there, spinning my rear wheel(s).
BKL A V6 crate engine and auto trans would be an easier way to go. Then you could really burn the rubber off that rear tire. Then get the 4 wheel conversion.
