    Previously I worked with a person who was consistently late for work once or twice a week. Typically showing up a few minutes into the morning briefing with his boots untied carrying the breakfast he picked up from McDonalds. Further distracting the briefings while enjoying his delicious breakfast. After time the supervisor called him out on it.


    This person reacted by calling out the supervisor (who was very fair) on every action possible. He noted and wrote down the dates and times of everyone who ever entered late.

    There are times when everyone may run into the potential situation of arriving to work. Its going to happen but there is a big difference between a consistent pattern.


    Trying to compare the pattern of constant persistent attracts on the Trump administration just can't be put ion the same category.

    It goes far beyond Fox News vs. CNN. Mass media typically other than what people following the news would tune into. Shows like the View. Movements like #MeToo, Actors, NBC, CBS ABC Local news, . They plastered it all over on a constant basis with the narrative it was about the victim and caring for the victims. Was it? Or was it about crushing the president?

    Did an 80 mile loop on local back roads. Went thru six little towns, none over 150 population. Met a couple of groups of Pirates. Some return a wave, most don't.

    It was mid sixties, so perfect for a ride. Supposed to rain Monday and Tuesday, so we had to let a couple of things around the house slide while we did the IMPORTANT thing today. The other stuff can get done while it rains.

    The rotator cuff surgery doesn't bother so much, and it's really fun to punch the Sling in second and third and make it HOWL. Nice to be back on the road the last couple of weekends after almost 10 months of recuperating and winter.

    Love those small towns and back roads! Same boat, I power washed the house in the rain last week knowing that the good days are for having fun!

    Many contributing factors, snowball effect. Greed from multiple sources. When the jobs go the tax base and incoming revenue decline. Look at the population decline. It's somewhere around 60% from the 50's. It would be fair to say the at the same time the operating costs to keep up with the failing property just in manpower & recourses leads to increased costs further accelerating the decline.


    I see many failing properties in Philly. I always ask why doesn't the city have a way to take control of that failing property and at minimum clear it out lending to a more attractive space that new business may consider operating in?

    Our friends up north sure did it right using the metric system. I remember as a kid in grade school teachers telling students to learn the metric system. At that time I believe the US had plans for the conversion. No doubt it never happened due to industry and production but I sure wish it did.12mm wrench to big, grab an 11mm, too small go to a 13mm. None of this 7/16, 15/32, 1/2, 17/32, 9/16 stuff. Heck, now you don't have a clue if one item is standard and another metric?

    Quite jealous! I suppose in South Jersey we're paying the price for the (relatively speaking) well above avg warm weather in March. For the most part April has been well below avg and it looks like the remainder of the month will be on the cool side. Typical April showers limiting any ride time.


    Hoping for warmer/dryer weather in May along with better virous conditions so I can take the sling to visit family in central Pennsylvania!

    Agreed but the action is much bigger than the current individuals. It sends a message to all past, present and future illegal alien's who enter this country. Locking in political affiliation. Open boarders, free programs and give aways, wait a few years then promise an easy pathway. A guarantied power grab for a very long time.
