Same with Slopoke here. Had that name since I got out of the Military back in the 90's.

I hope a video of this happening pops up.
Here was right after and it's still drive-able

I have never seen an engine with 20,000 parts in it
I thought wokka 's old motor had 20k parts in it 00008356.gif

I'm telling you guys. Warp core!
Never saw any of the Enterprise's filling up for a recharge including the one William Shatter owned back in the 70's, plus when you need to make that last minute escape/getaway you can always eject the warp core to eliminate the threat.

Whole new meaning to HOT Krispy Kremes after a road course event.

That slingshot is not worth more than 13k(to me), the wrap is a moot point, probably peeling around corners or will start soon and then will need to be removed, everything else seems stock on that sling.
Aftermarket parts"upgrades" do not add much value to slingshots, what they do is that they help people choose that upgraded sling vs a stock one.
100% agree.
I would offer him 12k and start there as a negotiating spot. If he bites let me know and I will take a look at it for you (If you want) as I am closer than Dave to that location.
Now, due to the drive distance that will cost you a Chick-Fil-A # 1 Deluxe with a Large unsweetened tea (yea I'm a Yankee transplant).
Keep us posted.

Happy B-Day!!!

The only real difference between the 2016 and the 2016.5 was the addition of the heat shield around the muffler on the passenger side. If this one hasn't been done, it's less than $300 for the kit and a couple of hours of time in the garage - very easy to do.
And a MUST in the lower states.
The wife and I rented a 16 SL in Hilton Head Island before we made this plunge and the heat from the foot well was unbearable. I honestly thought my shoe was going to melt and we eventually gave up and pulled off for a drink just to let it cool down.
Sheree202 if you husband is like 95% of the men on this forum prepare for a hefty credit card bill from time to time. I can't count the times new owners post that they will not mod their sling and that lasts for about 3 weeks or so.
Hope that works out for you, that's a great deal!
The Mrs and I take trips up to Helen pretty often with a few others not on this forum so you guys are always welcome to join!
Welcome to the family.

From what I've heard I will just pay taxes in GA and not out of state. Does that sound right?
Correct.
-
One last thing to keep in mind. If you get the one in SC you will get a nice Ad Valorem tax hit when you register it here.
You can use this link to give you an idea of what it will cost.https://eservices.drives.ga.gov/_/
Thanks!

I'm in Lawrenceville, GA
If you want to see what a built one looks like I am 15 min away from you in Barrow right off 85 Exit 126.

I have my own "dumb shit" piston starter set on my workbench.
Shit, that's rookie level bro. You can still tell it was a piston in a past life.
Next time you fry one just remove the spark plug, up the boost and drive it for 6 months. That's a proper dumb shit piston

Glad to hear you got it sorted out and are heading in the right direction brother!

Where are the rods and and pistons and all the lower bearings?
I have seen all 3 in the oil pan before if that helps?

I see said the blind man!

This makes perfect sense and as far as I can see it's spot on. The only issue you may have would be the power of your AMP at 4 ohms.
Can't hurt to try so give it a whirl and lets see how it performs. Also, make sure you check the HI / LOW filter on your amp.
Keep me posted brother!
