Well, it was a long 3 days, but Dave@DDMWorks and wokka pulled it off.
Here are some teaser pics for the time being as Charles makes the 900 mile commute home.
Safe travels my friend...
Enjoy!

Don't forget you can get even with the insurance companies by grabbing a GECKO and strangling the living shit out of him. We have plenty here in Florida if you want a few. My cat brings at least 3 in every week for an at sea burial
Sign me up!
I pay $510 a year full coverage with USAA (Underwritten by Progressive since it's classified as a motorcycle).
2K, that's insane for an SS.
Well, unfortunately my Gopro's battery died and I only got the removal of the angle drive and rear section along with some exhaust Porn beginning at 1:39 and climaxing at 1:48
All I can say is that I will never look at wheel stud the same ever again!
It was a blast helping out yesterday and wish I would have stayed longer, but 12 hours is my cutoff time.
On a side note, Dave and I decided that we really need to throw some 38 inch Mud Terrains on the back and take it offroading!
I will have the time lapse and some pics up later today. Again, what a blast to work on.
I'm bringing my Gopro for some great time lapse footage. Should be a sweet install!
slopoke are you going to be at DDM tomorrow as well?
I sure will!
Hopefully I will finish up with my Methanol install at an early hour tonight and get some sleep. Regardless, I will be there first thing in the AM with ole Blue.
"Actually, the American Academy of Neurosurgeons has already weighed in on this and they NEVER recommend the use of a helmet when NOT USING A HANS device, while restrained, as in "wearing a shoulder/lap belt". Forces on the neck are increased 40 fold in both frontal and rear impact crashes, nearly assuring death of the driver when the added weight of a helmet is added to the driver's head. Unfortunately, our legislatures are so short sighted, most have not addressed this issue, and won't until they are sued for INCREASING chance of injury/death by REQUIRING a helmet when driving a 3 wheeled vehicle equipped with seat/shoulder belts."
This is great info and I am working with my GA legislators to try and bring this up for a vote to amend the current law.
I have scoured everywhere looking for the source of the statement above. Do you happen to have the actual *linkable* source from the AAN?
Thanks!
That's pretty interesting, which one did you get?
Also, get it installed before next week so I can see it
Stage 3 with the digital controller (Big boy).
It's going in today and tomorrow with a 1 gallon fuel cell mounted in the engine bay.
100+ degree days will never cause me KR again!
Happy B-Day sir!

HA!
Even the manufacture has a link on their page talking about the scam. Too funny.
Seen this on FB, I am sure it is coming form China since it is so freak cheap. Just curious if the SS could pull it.

Sorry to say this is 100% a scam.
The real product starts at $19750.
Nice looking trailers though.
Should be no problem. I tow my boat with mine. You might find it a bit hard on the brakes though.
You know what they say about "If sounds too...."
LOL!
That would be an awesome wheelie watching you pull that tandem axle trailer!
Happy birthday sir!
I hope to see this in person one day!
You should swing by DDMworks since you're right in the area.
I heard a rumor that a bunch of us may be meeting up there Monday the 29th for some crazy install
Welcome to the family brother. Ping me the next time you decide to rent one and we will make the trip up!
Now that is cool!
"Essentially all the mechanical parts of the LRV replica come from Polaris' extensive line of off-road and on-road vehicles, with each piece serving a purpose and function, bringing the project to life."
I wonder what they used for the power-plant on that?
