I am thinking about purchasing a trailer to tow my Slingshot to the events. As of right now I am leaning towards a all aluminum 16 foot tandem axle enclosed trailer. I won’t the aluminum trailer because I don’t want to replace my truck. I have a Toyota Tacoma with the factory towing package. The truck is rated for 6800 pounds towing capacity. This is why I and wanting a aluminum trailer to keep the towing weight well below the trucks towing capacity. What I am wanting to know, what length you guys recommend, single or tandem axle, etc. and what options you would recommend getting on the trailer. Any advice would be a great help before I order the trailer.

This is my entry.
Not the spectacular scenery photos you guys have posted, but these are my favorite photos of my Slingshot with updates that were installed in 2020 by Dave@DDMWorks. Stage 1 turbo and some other DDM engine goodies along with front spoiler with center accent piece and hood vents. -
Bill Martin the carbon fiber goes really well with your wrap.

Thoughts on why this might not work on an 18?
The Polaris alarm won’t work with the ride command radio that came out in 2018.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. It was a 🥶 Christmas Day, but a good one.

Merry Christmas everyone. Looking forward to 2021. Hoping it will be a Slinging good year.

They are still out of stock. They just got the carbon fiber 295mm in but I just need the plastic version. I dont have any carbon fiber on my slingshot..
rabtech Keep us posted on the fender progress. If I every added the quad kit to my Slingshot, the fenders would be a must for me. Looking forward to seeing them installed. I haven’t seen a lot of options for fenders for the quads.

Here is a better look of the rear fenders I'm putting on it....
rabtech have you got the fenders you ordered installed yet? If you have, post up some pictures.

We talked about a similar idea and then the flu crap shut us down.
We thought we would pick a starting point and gather up a group - head to the next city add to the group - repeat that 2 -3 times and end up at the starting point. one night stay at each stop about a week long adventure. Everyone would travel the same amount and see the same places just not in the same order. It would take some planning but we are up to the task.
Slingshot Power Tour 😎

Yes it is!!
I wish me a Merry Christmas,
I wish me a Merry Christmas,
I wish me a Merry Christmas,
And a Happy New Year!
You are going to love that DDMWORKS Stage 1 Turbo. I had mind installed by Dave@DDMWorks back in early February and really love it. You can cruise around all day like it’s a stock Slingshot, but you better have both hands on the steering wheel with you mash the pedal. It has plenty of power when you want it. I am sure you will be very 😃 with your purchase once you get it installed.

Bummer ,They did away with the fog light wire and plug starting with the 2018 models.

Happy birthday Dave. Hope you have a great day.

Dave@DDMWorks have you had the time to verify if this brace will work with the 2.5” welter exhaust?

We can customize this setup to be exactly what you are looking for. There are some more options coming in the next couple months that we are excited about also and will release information on those as they become available. The base kit starts at $6999, is built to order and takes 6-8 weeks to ship, comes fully assembled and ready to bolt onto your Slingshot. If you are planning to stay on 3 wheels, we have a new product coming out on Monday. It is the strongest angle drive brace available for the stock angle drive. The brace has a 50% thicker collar around the pinion housing then other braces, uses larger 10mm bolts to provide higher clamping force than other braces and goes across the entire front of the angle drive to brace the pinion in 3 different directions providing much more stability. Although you can not see the brace really when installed, we will be also offering color options, because why not? The brace is made from 1/4" steel and 1.5" thick 6061-T6 aluminum billet, pricing and availability will be announced on Monday.
Dave@DDMWorks will the brace fit with the welter dual exhaust?

So what do you ladies panties have to do with the back pack?
Or do they use them to distract the enemy?
Just askin?
What back pack. All I see is the ladies panties. 😜

Went up to DDMWORKS this past Wednesday and had Dave@DDMWorks install the hood vents and front spoiler accent piece. Want to thank Dave,Ivy, and Angie for working with me on getting the powder coat to match my matte bronze wheels. They went out of there way to get samples of powder coat that matched perfectly. Outstanding consumer service.

Just come over about 1pm today. Im waiting on UPS and Fedex today to bring my final items. They should deliver the items around lunch time. It wont take long to install them and bleed the brakes. I finally crawled back under it after you left and tightened both ends of the driveshaft. Lol
I have been upgraded to DDMWorks double adjustable coilovers on the front. On the back I am going to be temporarily running the double adjustable QA1 coilovers. He has his coilovers on the way but they wont be here till next week.
We decided to change the swaybar to the silver adjustable bar so that it would match my control arms. And more importantly so i dont have to paint anything else......
rabtech Sorry I couldn’t make it up to see you today at DDMWorks and see the quad completed. I had some things to take care of and it took me longer than I expected. I really wanted to see the finished product before you headed home. You and Lewis have a safe trip back to Alabama. Post some pictures if you can. I enjoyed meeting you this week and hope to run into you again soon.
