Allison, I work for food! After busting ass for 8 hours today shoveling sod and weeds in a fenced in area I just completed so the Mule deer can't eat my wife's plants she did make me something to eat today.
Well those front pods crack when turned up. Will just going with better speakers do the trick?
So I changed the factory intake to the Rist Rocket Racing factory intake except it is polished
(Ground & Sanded). Haven't tried it yet because I sent the ECU to Bob Radke for his program tune. Should have a little more zip!
Mine is just OK. There are some serious players in the stereo game when it comes to Slingshots. I have seen some that have speakers fiberglassed in every possible location. I didn't want to loose the ability to haul ass down a really bumpy and twisty road for fear of something breaking loose. I wanted to carry mine as far as I could without loosing that usability. And I wanted to hear the words and music clearly at ANY speed. So far it has met and exceeded those goals.
So as far as factory stereo goes, yeah it sucks. Rab O'boy , buddy pal tell me with your knowledge and experience I was thinking on adding the Rockford fosgate side panel pods. Will it sound better or would I be better off adding the Rockford fosgate front panels with amp. I see both on Cycle Springs. I could probably drop $330 but $1030 shit!
Looks good to me especially since my wife didn't make me jack shit!
Here's a western diamondback rattler caught not very far from my house...
I know they eat the mice but the birds need to eat too and there aren't to many poisonous birds. Plus I like to see the raptors. Snakes, good for boots and belts!
Looking forward to ordering some. They look outstanding!
I think @Ruptured Duck is right - some are still sore from the unlubricated colonoscopy from the dark side
Our members should know what Rab is about and has done if they are on this forum even a little bit. The Spud is right! Anytime it seems making a purchase on the web a person has to sign up. I don't think it is asking to much or that it is out of line to be a member of the forum to use the forum. It isn't costing anyone a cent but is more appealing for vendors who pay for advertising. The more people on could be their future customers and they're looking for serious buyers.
Display MoreI was sitting here today and UPS ran... They just brought me two of the neatest toys. I am going to do a detailed step by step install on both products...
This got me thinking....I want to share the installs with you guys and gals. But I want the people that see this information to be members.... I don't think I want to give my info out to people who don't want to be a member....
What I thought about was creating a section that "Members" (people who took the time to signup) could see and people just passing by or trolling could not...
My question to y'all is this... Am I on the wrong path or do y'all think I should just post the info for anyone to see? I just feel like the members deserve to have more than the people that dont want to join the site...
I'm curious also who figures out what I have in the pictures also...
And these are just examples of projects. I doubt there is a handful of people that want or need either of these toys. But it needs to start somewhere..
Here is a picture of one of the goodies.....
Here is a picture of the other goodie...
I get where your coming from and agree completely. On home page it should just be stated, our members are valuable and contribute what they know. In return the technical info including posts, pictures and videos are only obtained by members. Sign up and your good to go.
What is that a electric air solenoid? Looking forward to the info. Glad l'm a member!
So sorry to hear of the bad news! I know the firefighters are there for life and property. Had to respond to a garage fire 0300 Sat. Morning. No biggy minimum damage family was good to go. Only couple miles from our station.
All the new and great machines at Cycle Springs came through fairly well by looking at the pictures. The ones that didn't insurance will take care of. Glad your open and in operation!!
Display MoreOK folks here is our next attempt ad a new mod - a little something to personalize your SS
This is an 1/8" thick stainless steel insert that can be custom engraved with most anything you want.
Installation takes about 20 minutes - no cutting just use the insert as a template to drill 3 holes in your existing black lovers.
Then remove the lover install (3) stainless steel cap screws - reinstall the lovers - Simple
Here are some pictures of what I did for mine
That looks good. Way to go. Great way to do a personalized mod.
Good option to add! Thanks for the info.
Happy Birthday!!!!! Enjoy it! The forum members sure enjoy you!
I will say my E-brake is legit!!!
@ss-lrv There is a clip on my website as well as a few more others on YouTube. Just search welter performance and it will take you to them.
@Crusher I'm unsure about working with the fender. I haven't tried it yet. This system connect directly to stock manifold or 1320 header. I will have a turbo models available immediately after this one gets off the ground! Probably about mid June !
It does look sporty. I am with Rab on this. Now with a rear fender I will be watching to see if it will work ? Looks like I need to start saving again!
Display MoreI thought I was going to have a miniature meltdown a minute ago. I rolled my tire over to put it back on and saw this.
As you can see it is in a really nice Michelin tire.
So I was relieved when I pulled it out and this is what I found. Never did get into the goodie part of the tire.
Glad it was a short bastard.
Fixed my own ! You can't wait or rely on Polaris..
Display MoreTWINS! Adding to the fun, another Haas VF4SS! Love me some CNC machines! Tuesday can't come soon enough so both can be making chips!

Money!!!!!
In Florida (and probably anywhere else) to ride one of these without a windshield is playing Russian Roulette with whatever wants to fly your way. Case in point. Take a look at what went over my stock windshield traveling at 86 mph hitting my right shoulder, bouncing to the seat headrest and rear panel, before falling on the passenger floor board. To give you an idea of the size, I placed him on the hood next to the turbo emblem. I can't imagine riding with no shield and having this hit you in the face. You can see his exploded internals on the panel. NASTY
That thing could decapitate you! Where's a damn chicken when you need one!
