I have 'left over' side bags from my Gold Wing days....They are soft material and

As most of you know I'm a residential painting contractor---trying to do some 'outside' work and it's been raining most of the day....late afternoon dried off

I will say that when I read that post I couldn't contain my smile. It was the best thing i had read in a long time. They will always get new members and they will always have some content. But they will never grow with real members. Maybe some people that find them threw a search engine or maybe they could create "bots" for members.
Again, this is my opinion and should be noted as such. I have to go now. I have to do my happy dance.

When in SC recently --- showing the Sling to a couple of girls --- one in the drivers seat for pics, offered the same to the other young lady and her comment " Have to get naked to get in there" she thought it might be a little cool that evening ---about 40 degrees....But she was serious....

I will try both, the alchol and the mothers. I used boat polish on the black hood and it worked for two weeks then the whitish crud was back. I will try the lexan on the back by the rear black above the rear tire...Thanks everyone for this, I hope it works
All of the "Black" restorer has some 'black color' in it. Clean it with alcohol and
then use the 'Ice' detailer in all the areas front and sides....think you'll be happy with that. -

Turtle was "Ice". the alcohol will clean old wax that leaves the white residue. -
#3 with most wording on back. Maybe small Slingshot left pocket area.

I am starting to get a whitefish discoloration on the black textured hood areas. I've tried light compound with no results. The marks will not be visible when wet but show right back up as soon as completely dry. Anyone have an idea how I can remove these marks???
That very well could be 'car polish' ... take a test with a little bit of rubbing alcohol
and clean. The alcohol will not harm the plastic black or the red paint, than rince with clean clear water.
The only cleaning and polishing I use on my slingshot is Turtle Wax "Ice", both the detailer and the wax (both spray bottle) will not leave a 'white' residue on the black plastic. The "fast red" and black both shine beautifully. -

I just did the one in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area. Even though Mother Nature did not cooperate I still had a very fun and rewarding experience. Charlotte was my star that I had the pleasure of riding with. She is such a tough little girl. We helped raise over $81,000 dollars. I had the only Sling in the ride.
Thanks for making out to the North Carolina Ride. With your help hopefully we
can get more out next year. Meeting these young people and their families who

Ride for Kids, AMA expand partnership
The American Motorcyclist Association has joined forces with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation to promote the PBTF’s Ride for Kids program, which the AMA has sanctioned since 1984.
As an AMA Affiliate Partner, the PBTF will receive a $5 donation for each new AMA membership and $2.50 for renewed memberships using the code PEBRTU. The AMA will email its members about Ride for Kids events, and Ride for Kids will have a booth at the AMA’s Vintage Motorcycle Days in July.
“The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Ride for Kids are terrific ambassadors for the sport of motorcycling, and we’re delighted to announce our expanded partnership during Brain Tumor Awareness Month,” said Jeff Massey, Chief Operating Officer, AMA. “We look forward to connecting them with even more supporters around the country to help cure the kids.”
The AMA will be recognized as a Ride for Kids partner on event promotional materials, and the membership donation benefit will be shared in Ride for Kids emails and social media posts.
“The AMA and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s Ride for Kids program have worked closely together for years, and AMA members are some of our most loyal supporters,” said Larry Little, vice president and general manager of Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) Events and chair of the PBTF’s board of directors. “Strengthening our partnership emphasizes that Ride for Kids is The Motorcycle Charity Event of Choice and will enable us to help more children fight their deadly disease.”
