At 76 years young always wanted a motorcycle ... got my first one at 49 - 1982 Honda Sliver Wing, and a couple years later an 1984 Gold Wings (first of several) and at 71 saw the Slingshot and with every miles I go forward I get an hour younger so I going to ride as much as I possibly can. Work every day for a little gas money.

Hello from Vegas! FINALLY bought my 1st sling after renting several...just in time for it to get too hot here and sit in ther garage. Got an orange 18 SLR. Looking forward to reading threads and learning...as a lot of us have extra time now lol. Is there a FOR SALE section here? I have the mod bug and it isn't even here yet. Thanks.

Welcome to the 'World of Slingshot Insanity'.... get lots of seat time in before going to crazy with the mods .... To often when you change one and later go to add something new ... doesn't fit.

If you are getting Social Security don't they already have all your bank info? From what I understand effective in 2013 they require all social security payments to be electronic.

To me it seems the best protection would be to set up an account at one bank that is only used to receive direct deposits - Social Security, Stimulus, Tax Refunds - - and any others, and then have a second main account preferably at a different bank that you use for everything else. Then just move the money that is deposited in the direct deposit account as soon as it comes in to the main account only leaving enough behind to keep the account open - - - this way there is virtually nothing for them to take out

If you have a SS# would take them about 30 sec to find all of your bank accounts.

We recently upgraded our seats and have a pair of OEM Seats free to a good home. You pay the shipping.

Chris where are you located and what year Slingshot seats do you have.

Welcome to the wonderful "World of Slingshot Insanity."

Tim you do want to remember the the Slingshot is a Motorcycle type unit and the top/windshield will not keep you dry in the rain. At speed most will blow over but you stop and the rain from the roof comes poring forward off the roof. Bring soap and towel and all is good.

Anyone who hasn't tried it yet, just has to humor yourself while you're stuck in captivity. Take some of the kids peeps and put them in the microwave and watch em grow

Fun you need to get in the Slingshot and sneak out into the country for some fresh air.

I do believe that if your not causing any 'problem' --- gathering or traffic the boys in Blue are not going to be checking up on anyone. Toooo many domestic calls to handle with people being cooped up to tight. A young female Office in Indy was shot and killed last week on a domestic call. If we all stay calm things will get better.

I found out a couple of hours ago that there was a tornado, I watched a helocopter following the line about lunch time they turned around about 1/4 mile from my house. That was what that high wind was about we were on the edge and it picked up before getting to us.

We've had a little rain and lot of wind, few small branches down....

Just reaching out to see if there is anyone around the Houma, LA area that could help me with some mods if I get them sent to the house. I was going to get them to do it in Maggie Valley but don't think I can wait that long if their is someone that can help me. I purchased exhaust, header, cold air intake.

Jason, If you ask FunCycle will walk you thru every step ... forum or phone. Hope all is well with you and Amy.

As a Residential Painting Contractor I do everything I can to talk people out of any paint coating on a garage floor. The failure rate is to great. Once it's painted it need to go at least 30 days with NOTHING sitting or driving on it. It would be dry enough to walk on but that's all you want for 30 days. Cost of products $$$,$$$.$$
