Sometimes they will slow 'down' ... I've seen a 'Blue' one in my area several times but haven't been able to meet him.

I always 'flirt' with the girls at the front desk of the motel and park for the night under the canopy at the front door. Put a cockpit cover on and all is good. Lots of miles and over nights and no problems.

I am getting older and yes todays music really does suck! Unfortunately the youth have the right to listen to crappy music.
Working on a home and the 16 yo comes out and sets up his music.... Ready to close my ears when out of his stereo comes 'Johnny Cash" the whole album ...

Correct, the attempt, at the attempt, wasn't attempted...
Shit. Okay, can't attempt, need to commit. I'll commit! 😇
Or be 'committed' ....

For those people that want to go this route. IMHO if you are going to push the limits like on mountain roads the Pedal Max/Commander can get you in trouble REAL quick. I found this out this morning, I am just saying you need to be careful. I was set on Sport 1. Some time in the future I will be getting rid of it all together.
For those of you who may not know FunCycle, those of us who have known and ridden with him will tell you he can handle the Slingshot and the Roads.... If he says take care----TAKE CARE.

Was the design of this ever updated? I have a brace installed on my 2019 for the last 500 miles. Seems I should remove and alter it as well or find a replacement. As a side note I really hate the SS mushy brakes.
The dealers have some special equipment they can use to bleed the breaks!

Hope it's a great day.

Kyle D just texted me - he's almost done with Ruby! I got these photos a few minutes ago. Hope to get Ruby back in a couple hours.
--> Stage 1 turbo w/ fuel/air gauge
--> New rear exit exhaust
--> Pinion brace
--> Wide-angle hood hinges
Heading back to Arkansas in the morning 🌄
Doc you were talking about a trip to 'Montana' and looking at pictures from SoCal I figured you were going to the Mountains to ride a little.... Two hours after reading this post and riding my Slingshot I finally figured out what was going on....just a little slow once in a while. That's why I can't get boosted....

Get out in the yard and a little fresh air....

I was thinkin more like Great White sharks......it’s a lawyer thing

Sounds like like of changes happening. Prayers for the recovery going smoothly.

Super simple! It’s right by your fuse box under the hood.
This is what mine looked like. It’s supposed to be clear. I changed it and then pumped the clutch for about 4-5 minutes and then it looked pretty dark again. Changed it again and pumped it but I’m gonna change it one more time. You can see some particles in it in the clearest photo, those are gone now after draining it again but that’s what the fluid should look like color-wise.
Nice show and tell.

123hotdog I recommend the madstad adjustable. I have the 13 inch and really love it . It has changed the cabin air and still protects eyes so much.
Not knocking the F4+5, great windshield but not great for high heat like here in Texas, installed the Madstad 13 it really helped on out last ride couple weeks ago, 102 on SS and wind coming in under windshield really saved us . Two hour ride on I35 with all truck traffic adding more heat really a great change. Not AC air by a long shot but we definitely had different ride.
I also have baker wings and TD canvas top. Both help in the hotness.Still want to come ride in your part of the country. One of these days!
JUST SAYINJim have you added the funnel and hose to bring air into the cockpit. We have have several threads on this over the years and I have them on my Slingshot.

Didn't ride in Harvey's. Meant to just didn't get to it.
Riding in the setup will give you the info you need....

I have to keep it simple. This wisdom is from FunCycle .
He was the 'mastermind' behind some parts that I had made for the fenders we have. I took his design and gave it to a talented metal worker who did a super job.

To elaborate on BryanL 's response, if you want to smoke your back tire, turn off traction control (short push), if you want to live in a rainstorm, turn off both (long push).
Thanks for the clarification.

It also allows a lot of heat to stay in the cockpit. I rode about one week with the +6 that was on Sling II last summer. It was like riding in an OVEN
Different parts of the country we need to set up our rides differently...

Absolutely. I am prob doing the double bubble adjustable one or the Nascar tallboy. Not sure yet.
Up in the Frozen North I have the F4 5+ and love it, but need to add Baker 'Air Wings' to really make it work. Keep cold out and to bring cool in. I would look real strong and the double bubble ... Did you ride in Harvey Slingshot when you were together?
The F4 5+ and the Nascar are very similar and block a lot of air so you will need a way to bring some in.
