@Bill Martin I just would like to say thank you that you to let me borrow some of your stash, even I did ask you for a pill witch would be a downer.
I been married 32 years - I require a somewhat larger dose

It may have taken 2 1/2 but you did it in fine fashion and safe. Glad you 1 could go 2 had a good time 3 did it by yourself. Great job you got my respect any way. When we doin the hill country again. On the other hand it will take bout 3 hours for cleaning!
Go to Vail with us - it's gonna be a blast!!
Texas will be awesome next year! It's a long haul, but worth it for some really great people! Excited about that one too for sure!
If you, Dave, Jeff, & Angie need a place to break up the trip we will cook up some good coonass food and leave the light on for ya!!!
Yep... One man's trash is another man's treasure...
Then don't be so cheap and buy my turbo
I'm on the fence about it...I think mostly cause the design is similar to a top that I was working on before my fabrication guy took off in the middle of making it. I like the price point...wish it were about $100 less...but it's definitely better overall than what's out there price wise. If I can get one in the next 3-4 weeks I'd be very interested in buying one.

@Ruptured Duck needs to chime in here but I know he sold all he had in Maggie Valley and I think he is gonna make a couple tweaks before he ships out more. What say you Rup??
They might as well brace themselves for a letter from Polaris's copyright attorneys...
They don't take kindly to using the slingshot name.
No worries - I scared em off
Hoping you all have a couple of scratch and dent tops available this year like you did last year.
Check that...that was SlinshotOnly that had the tops...oops.
If ya can wait ya need to check out @Ruptured Duck s top. I'll be showin it off in Vail - it's worth the wait I promise!!
@lrobbi I didn't know you was gettin hitched until I got to Maggie Valley. Congrats on your new bride - I was too cheap to get ya wedding gift so bringin ya the hood will have to do!! Seriously- glad to do it for a forum bro
I really haven't had the chance to drive it much with the new top but I have sat in other Slings with tops and field of vision is very close IMO. Raising it just a tad as @Ruptured Duck suggests should make in comparable to any other top.
Today is no riding weather here in MV we where very lucky last week for the event. . But it is nice to relax and take naps, like it would be our honeymoon.
Bet ya didn't need these on your LAST honeymoon
No no no Texas next year is more important and earlier
I should have the money for my SC
Sincerely
Mr Difficult and Needy
You think your needy now - just wait till you see all my goodies in Vail
I gotta throw in a little perk with @Ruptured Duck s new top. If you trailer a lot and use the trailer cover - this top collapses down and can be easily carried in the back seat or bed of a truck taking up very little space. The ease of removal, install, storage makes this the best top on the market IMO !!
Damn now I am double jealous
Maybe this should help ya feel better
Yes Sir
Me and my bride will be there for sure!
No worries @MiM - I will be over to Houston very soon for everybody to check out the new top and watch ya all get green with envy - not to mention new exhaust and supercharger
I know this is gonna knock me off @rabtech s Christmas list but I do LOVE my new supercharger
Display MoreI would like to let everyone know what a excellent (outstanding) company DDM Works is.
We had our Supercharger installed and went back to the hotel and Ivy@DDMWorks called us after the installation and we had no transportation back to the fairground, she offered right away to pick us up which she did with a big smile on her face.
Also Dave@DDMWorks, Jeff@DDMWorks , and the other lady (sorry forgot here name) where more then just professionals, they are Family.
There supercharger is a product next none, extremely high quality and craftsmanship.
I just would like to recommend DDMWorks to anyone considering a supercharger.
YEP!!! What he said
Hopefully I can spend a bit of quality time with him as I drive to Indiana in July... You on the way to Painter, Rab?
Rab's house is so far in the woods I don't think it's on the way to anywhere
Well we made it to Piedmont, SC where I am a mile from DDM Works for just a little more Sling love!! The whole week was just amazing seeing old and new friends. Didn't get to ride much cause I was busy with mods. Gotta thank Jeff at Welter Performance for hooking me up with a phenomenal rear exit exhaust, FINALLY gettin @mniron to put on my hood buttons (can't believe I waited so long) and finally @Dave@DDMWorks, @Slingrazor, @dangerdarrell and several others for making my new supercharger happen. Dave pulled strings to facilitate a SC cause I wasn't even scheduled to install one and Trent, Darrell and others took time from riding and partying to do the install. I keep saying it over and over that the vendors and folks on this forum are a special breed that are all above the rest. Sad Maggie Valley is over but Vail is on the horizon now and I look forward to makin as many friends in the West as I have in the East!!
