@kev you know we have talked but others don't. I plan on marketing my products through allthingsslingshot.com as soon as I revise my rack design to eliminate any issues with, well, let's just say other manufacturers, beef up my rear plate inventory, and come up for air from my current projects (working today and tomorrow for a total of 8 days this week). I feel like I have had my run on the forum and have sold several at the lowest possible prices to those who have wanted them. I would expect a small increase over current pricing and would choose to discontinue my forum marketing at that time. I have considered my own web presence but decided I don't want to spend the time and effort to support it and make it successful. I have never intended to make this a full-time business but rather a hobby that offers some satisfaction from seeing my products on some of the most awesome Slings out there, and to interface with, in my opinion, a high class of people. Nailed it! Time for the next step and I hope we can improve each other's modest level of success.

Shameless plug on someone else's thread (sorry @lrobbi, I guess there's a little shame): That being said, I do still have luggage racks available with the current design, soon to be discontinued, for anyone interested.

....it would truly be a t-shirt I couldn't wear until I'm a true rider. Thanks @Shatneyman for shaking me back to reality. Out of my respect for Painter I'm withdrawing my request but please don't let this affect anyone else's decision.

I have T-shirts from many places I have not been. Friends and family bring them back to me. If anyone would like an Aruba hat, I will send it to you (only 1 available). No plane ticket required. @Shatneyman and @Zorasmiles, I've had personal interaction with both of you and you are both gentlemen. A T-shirt will not compromise that. But I get your point. You can't fake class - which is why I don't even try!

    Likewise!
I do feel though because I ride in a @Painter masterpiece, that I am a Posse member by "induction through chariot"...

One day I'll ride in MV with y'all... Just need to figure out towing and time off...

I completely agree. You are the honorary President of the Imposter chapter. (I just made that up...)

Well I guess I'm shameless! If a Posse Imposter shirt is an option I'd take a medium. I will represent out here on the west coast and it will give me incentive to make it out to Maggie in the future. I don't expect voting privilege but will definitely hoist one in His honor!

Seriously inexpensive at SuperBrightLeds.com. I bought the square pods with 4 LEDs each. I put 2 blue and 2 white under each side of the dash to replace the lame Polaris single bulbs on my 1st Sling and they worked and looked great. I bought the same for my 2nd Sling and added one more white one for the glovebox which will be on the same switch as the under dash whites. I also bought 2 red and two white for the engine bay. My plan is to install them on 2 separate switches located in the engine bay for a work light and a show light. Total cost around $30-$35. I plan on buying halos from them as well.

@edwardaneal I went with the JRI grand Touring because I didn't feel like I would be stopping to adjust when I'm going to drive aggressively which seems to 'just happen'. I have been very happy with the choice but have not experienced the adjustables. The difference over stock is significant.

There's a bunch of info, threads and opinions on this.

Well NO! you shouldn't send a Disrespectful Message when there are multiple wallflowers out here wanting to know the same thing. Except I'd like to do just the outside marker lights - I don't have the Canadian conversion. (.gif of rolling eyes and middle finger)

Is there an android version of this or is it specific to equipment built into the I-phone? I'm not drinking the Apple koolaid. And I'll get an I-pad when I have my 1st I-period!

Coincidentally, I took my Sling to my buddy's tranny shop today just to show it off. He's been doing tranny's for 40+ years and has been the owner for the last 25 or so. He told me that 25 years ago, they would be into a rebuild about $800 or $900 in parts and make $500. Now they are into a rebuild $2,800 - $3,800 in parts and make the same $500. Tough business to be in. When I walked through the door his brother, the lead tech, was in a foul mood. When I walked into his office, he was in a foul mood. Things weren't going well and it showed. The increase in technology has not been kind to the techs that fix these. That being said, your shop should be able to provide timely invoices for the specific parts your tranny requires for the 'rebuild' they charged you for. They simply cannot keep parts in inventory anymore. You won't get this info without filing suit but that is what I would be asking for. Good luck my friend.
