I just tried calling again. Got ahold of a gentleman named Ken who informed me that Bob took a few days off for the 1st time in 3 years. Lol! He has a couple of our ECM’s at his shop now.

I just called roaring toyz to get a quote for my rear wheel/ tire replacement. I was looking at the 20x12 rear "meaty". They told me that they will not sale just the rear set up. I have 18's in the front and the wheel I was looking at was a good match. I feel bad for the people who may have bent the rear rim (as I did) and purchased through roaring toyz. They would not be able to just replace the rim and would have to by a hole new set.

Lol... You do know I asked a LOOOOONG time ago...
Nobody beats me! I'm the wiz! (name that TV show line)Anyway, I have since got me new wheels, so all good...
20 inch rear with a 315...
Whats the rear rim size? Nice wheels!

@NJ SS I have stock shocks and I clear the rear spring by about 1/8". No issue with rubbing.
- Thanks
You really need to get some good shocks on the awesome machine, check out the For Sale Section for the best shocks available. You will gain a little more clearance also.
thanks guys. Just bent my rear rim last night (NJ potholes. Lol!!). I will be in the market for new rims. I wanted to just get a wider rear but will have to replace all of them to get a matching set.
-
@SlingRider do you have any issues with the rear tire rubbing the shock spring?
-
Hey there dudley4, could you let me in on your muffler mod? As much as I hate take the 1320 system off, I'd rather have a happy wife.
Yes. Please tell

What baffle are you talking about ?
The baffle that inserts into the exhaust to quiet it down.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong but by adding a baffle to the exhaust you will decrease power. Not sure if this is a significant loss though.
-
and I should really proof read my write ups before submitting them. Lmao!

I don't have this system but the canister is the same they use on sport bikes so I just want to warn those who are not familiar with sport bikes exhausts and their somewhat frequent need for repacking.
As they go through heat cycles the heat/sound absorption packing will be consumed and the exhaust will get louder over time.
Repacking an exhaust is not hard but it is just another maintanence thing that you will have to do on most aftermarket sport bike exhaust.
The trade off is that you get a much better exhaust note and super light canister(weight savings) out of this type of exhaust.
I mention this because repacking exhaust is not something that is common on cars so some people might not be aware that is a thing and be really upset later on when they find out.
I am not trying to scare anyone into not buying this, I really like twobrother's exhausts it is my goto manufacturer for aftermarket exhaust on sport bikes since they also have their fuel management module so you can two bird with one stone type of thing.
Here is what twobrother says regarding how much it last normally. Thanks a lot. I'm teeter tottering on pulling the trigger right not especially since slingmods is over a 10% discount on this for a limited time. I had no problems choosing my alpha headers and intake but now do I save up for the welter stealth or take advantage of the great priced two brothers. Decisions, decisions .

I've decided to spring for it. I'll post a review on the site later!

Did you opt for the black?
-
@slingmods with the baffle installed, would you say that it has a nice crisp sound that still allows you to hear the stereo on the highway? also, have you noticed any heat reduction?
-
Thanks Johnathan! I usually just sit back, read forums, and check out what's being sold. This exhaust is well priced but has not had a chance to be reviewed yet. I was interested in the twin shot exhaust until I started reading about the droning noises.
-
Can't wait to hear the feed back from buyers on the sound of this exhaust. It is priced right but the ones I've heard on sports bikes are crazy loud.

- Good question. Is anyone have the rear deck issue with models prior to 16.5?
-
I have the same exact marks on my black 16.5 ss on both sides of the rear deck. I have not pursued this issue yet. I did have bulges on both, my driver and passenger side panels due to bad support bracket design. The paint started cracking. After a long conversation with the dealer I was able to get a one time warranty on both panels. Before panels where replaced I used foam tape as a cushion between the bracket and panel. I was informed the same dealer has warrantied the panels for one other customer.
