I have a theory about the angle drive failures.....

first of all when I crawled under mine there was a fluid leak where the cover plate bolts on......the leak is from one of two things.....either the gasket goop wasn’t installed correctly or the case is warping to cause the leak....why would it warp......I’m thinking from heat....now read this article about heat and aluminum....

    https://www.thefabricator.com/…-is-too-hot-for-aluminum-

if our angle drive case gets too hot for too long I think it’s becoming brittle and weaker each time it over heats.....and from an earlier picture of a recently failed unit there was what appeared to be a thinner section in the casting than the rest of it......

just my opinion from 20 years of welding. Over heating an item isn’t good and can lead to structural failures.....basically you’re cooking the life out of it. I’ve seen steel that was crystallized from excessive heat while working on an electric arc furnace water cooled brim leak.....the water cooled brim was clogged with dirt preventing the water from circulating and keeping it cool......it couldn’t even be welded....it had to be cut out and patched to get to good solid steel again....if steel can crystallize so can aluminum.

so my guess is any angle drive could Suffer a catastrophic failure under Extended high heat conditions. Could it be from the enough fluid leaking out? Could it be from oil that broke down and couldn’t keep the gears and housing properly lubricated causing heat to build up? Could the castings be warping from too much heat? Could some castings just be junk from the get go? Too many impurities in the aluminum? ....Cheaper grades of aluminum? Cast at an improper temperature? Improperly cooled? Or not annealed correctly?

I have an old set of double bubbles, I messed up spraying on tint. wanted to use them to practice cutting them down some, so any body with experience on cutting this type of material. what would be the best tool to use.

they make special saw blades and drill bits.....I cut down my windshields without any problem....... That said, tape off the plexiglass so the saw won’t scratch it. Don’t over heat the cut....keep the saw moving forward....don’t let it stay in one spot because the plexi will start to melt.....when the cut is done use A sanding block and on the cut to slightly round the edge to look like the factory edge. Using finer and finer grit. All my cuts look like They are original.

    Another democrat email survey....

Do you Think joe will be a good president?

Well it doesn’t really matter....do you approve of joe? Approve of him for what....dog catcher, garbage collector? He is running for the most powerful job in the world, no I don’t approve of him especially for president.....see how the poll numbers get twisted?

Just last weekend I experienced a similar thing. I was at Old Navy in a predominantly black mall with my 3 yr. old son. A 50 something year old white lady comes up to me and whispers, "I love (mumble) shirt". I asked, "His shirt", pointing toward my son. She replied, "No, yours. You are brave". I had to look down at the front of my shirt to see the "brave" shirt I was wearing. I responded, "It's Triumph motorcycles" giving her a perplexed look. She said, "Yeah, but the back". She looked at the back again and continued, "Oh, I thought it was something else".

She wasn't the first person to think it was a "Trump" shirt. To my knowledge she was the first to confuse the British flag with the "rebel flag".

but, there is no Triumph without Trump...I don’t think you should wear that shirt again until after the election....you know Antifa, and BLM can’t read either....

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all,"

you’re either with us or against us and if it’s against us...we don’t need you....choose how you’re leaving....and make it fast.

Sure, comply... funny how that seems to work for some and not for others...This guy got fired for basically doing the same thing... just in a different state. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/g…-outside-home-goes-viral/

sounds like a move to sacrifice him for the good of the community to prevent riots and looting. To Kiss the community’s ass. It paints him like a bad apple and the perp looks like an angel....giving them the ok to resist, disobey and Do whatever you want.

The more common media term I hear is “arsenal.” I was watching local news a few weeks ago. Police entered a home on a drug warrant & found an “arsenal” which they then proceeded to show. One cheesy 9mm handgun, a run of the mill 12-gauge pump shotgun and a bolt action rifle; there was MAYBE 200 rounds of ammo. ARSENAL?! Really?

They choose their words & euphemisms for dramatic effect...

it’s part of the brainwashing to make gun owners look like crazed lunatics and owning one gun and box of ammo means you’re a criminal that needs to be locked up.

I must admit I am always amazed how the media will make it sound like anyone who has more than one gun and any decent quantity of ammo is some kind of terrorist - - headlines like "A cache of weapons and thousands of rounds of ammunition were confiscated"

my wife an I only own 2 guns, both 9mm and we always stock over 100o rounds - - most people I know that own a few guns easily have "thousands of rounds of ammunition - - and I guess the media would also call it a cache of weapons

    =O

you need to stock up.....your ammo supply is dangerously low.

I live in Tampa Florida and received this text today...

    1. it’s a crime to give anyone a gift to entice them to vote....He’s going to have so many counts against him....

    2. According to the IRS it’s considered income which needs the taxes paid on it...

    3. Felons who seek to have their fines and fees paid must apply to the FRRC program, which evaluates the applications and works with counties to repay the outstanding costs, said Desmond Meade, the coalition’s executive director. if they don’t get permission they are in violation of the law.....if they are on parole they’ll have a problem..
