Polarized lenses are all I have ever had. However I will probably never buy them again. If you don't have the lenses lined up perfectly with a screen or Guage u won't be able to see it. LED and LCD screens have a polarized filter that must match up with the glass lenses. If your sitting off axis from the display you are loosing brightness and picture.

Here is a way you can check to see if you have polarized lenses. If you have radio in your car that has a screen that looks like a computer screen this should work. Go out to the car and take your glasses off and turn them 90 degrees. Try looking thru them at the screen. The screen should disappear as you rotate the glasses 90 degrees.

Also polarized glasses will show the tempering of the safety glass in a car. You may have noticed itand never knew why you were able to see the streaks in the side or rear window in a vehicle.

There is one condition that I would definitely recommend polarized lenses... In snow. The polarization will act like microscopic mini blinds and block scattered light from hitting your eyes from every direction.

I guess if you don't need to see things like a screen or lcd gauge the it would be better to wear polarized lenses. However if you get them and can't see things you normally can without them on then you know why now.

I have Bob's software and cable also. It doesn't lock to the individual slingshot. I have it somewhere. I guess I need to sell it to someone that can use it. I can't anymore for sure.

If I find my cable and software I'll put it in the marketplace.

Here are the tires I use. They were 49.99 shipped when I started buying them. They have went up a few dollars since I bought the last set. But still less than 55.00 each delivered. They work very well for generating smoke. I think some people think I'm eating 150 to 250 dollar tires up. So now yall know the secrets of my cheap tires.

By the way. I just got 4 more on the way. :-)

I hate this but the new vehicles pretty much record everything you do. If you were in an accident in any of these newer autos I'm sure the insurance could pull your data from the ecu. I even think the newer cars that have all these super cool surround view cameras record video in a loop and if the airbags are triggered or other certain triggers are met they lock that video down and it's available to the dealer to download and I'm sure the insurance companies can get to it. Heck I wouldn't doubt that it's not accessible from the on board 4g AT&T cell service.

What I'm getting at is that it's just a matter of years before we won't be able to hide from big brother. I absolutely hate it for the next generation coming up. Most just don't understand how they will be affected by all these "cool and helpful" gadgets. They will bite everyone in ass when they least expect it.

I did get a new bar for the front of my slingshot. However I have noticed it only has one set of mounts where the older bar has two sets.

I think I want to cut my original bar and replace the bent portions of it with new tubing. Now that I have a unbent bar I can use it as a pattern.

DER I haven't unpacked the new plastic hoop pieces that go on the hoops. I think I have a set of the new hoops if it does. But thanks for the heads up on the issue. I did unpack the mirror brackets and looked over them. I am missing one of the plastic tinted pieces in one of the doors. I think I just need to find some solid black plastic for both holes. I can't imagine needed to look out of those.

I had a nerve block performed on my left knee. I can finally walk without pain so I have a lot of cleaning and catching up in the office and garage. I haven't been outside much this year and I think the only thing that is going to slow me down for a while is the summer heat. I'll have to get used to it.

Bigdog it seems you are turning this into your own personal "I'm right and your wrong" forum.

I'm going to ask you to please ease up on the posting of your "here are more reasons I'm right" kind of post. Honestly all you do is make others ignore your post. You also make others avoid the forum all together.

Basically your rants are bad for my forum. I know you can see why I am posting this. And if you want to continue to argue with members I will ask you to politely leave the forum. Right now this is just my warning and the reason all rolled up in one post.

Carry on. I'll be around if anyone needs me. rabtech

This spammer that always sets up a username with Mariaxxxxx is about to get on my shit list. I am going to knock out the whole ip subnet coming from Pakistan. I don't think we will miss anything from that region.

I don't know how I ended up with such a perfect running machine. But I am definitely proud of it. Dave@DDMWorks has put a ton of time and research into the white beast... All I can say to Dave is "listen to this beast run wide open". You should be proud of this slingshot for sure. I honestly don't know much that you could do to improve on the power or dependability.

I am looking for a 2" zeewave or zigbee or even wifi. Zeewave is what i would really like.

I have 2 water feeds coming to my house. I'll explain... I have a 1" that feeds my cold water side. It has between 55 and 65 psi from the city and did a very good job supplying more than enough water... Then I had a awesome idea.... I installed a Kolher 6 electronic valve shower system. I have 11 of the water tiles that flow 2.2 gpm. I found out real fast that you can't squeeze 20gpm out of that 1" pipe. I also found out that to really run that much water for any amount of time you can't use an instant heater ( unless u chain link a few commercial units ) .

So I installed a 120 gallon electric water heater. And I had the city put in a 2" meter beside my 1". The easiest way to add the additional flow was just to run the 2" direct to the water heater. So now I can drown myself with water if I need to.

Here is why I need a 2" home automation valve. I had the 2" bust at a joint half way up my hill I live on. It ran for 2 days when I was out of town. I had a 3500.00 water bill. They reduced it to 1750.00. But that still sucked. I have found a few zeewave controlled valves but they have been almost the price of the water bill.
