Had to check...so just went out to the garage and started up the Slingshot. OEM under the hood and 86,800+ miles and idling just under a 1000 RPM. Old and couldn't remember so had to check. I do believe that mine had always been the same.

thanks EJ for the info. wasn't sure if I was correct or not. could just be with the blow off valve working just seems like it was idling to high lol.

For the ones with the quad kit. Has anybody come up or came across wheel lights for the kits yet. Right before I purchased the trakhammer, I bought a set of light rings from ZSW. I haven't came across anything for the quads yet. And with all I have going on, I really don't have time to try to have some made up or designed yet.

Question for the supercharger guys. I have noticed since my install my idle RPM's have been around a 1000. Is this correct? I want to say before the install it idled around 500 or so but I may be wrong. but I feel like 1000 RPM are a little high for just sitting and idling.

Wouldn’t a nice looking header be better?

you are correct sir, I have been looking at some just not sure what I want at this time. I may be wrong but I thought I read somewhere on here that Dave done a test with the stock manifold and some aftermarket ones. and the results were the stock done just as good as the aftermarket ones. that was the reasoning behind not getting a header as fast just looking at different designs and what would work with the welter dual exhaust. by the way hope to see you in September sir,

Did you modify your exhaust heat shield? I took mine off due to it touching the SC hose.

Trooper , will probably be getting together soon but someone is planning a September event in Eureka. Not sure who. Patti saw it on FB. Some of us are going on our Epic Adventure from 9/16 - 10/10. About 4500 miles. Y’all are welcome to come. It will be a lot of fun.

thanks for the offer, just can not take that much time off from work. sounds like it will be a great ride. oh I think i still have my sprocket when I done the quad.

Troy hooked me up with my rear spoiler and all the brackets. He is a great guy to work with and will go out of his way to make sure you are happy with your kit. Worth every penny I spent with all the upgrades.

Have to agree, he was a pleasure working with when I was ordering my quad from him.

You need to get a color matching valve cover. They are not expensive.

Yes sir I have been looking around for another valve cover to do. chavey2 that is my plan is to try to find some high temp yellow close to that color. was going to try my hand at powder coating have the oven and equipment .
