Yep, still getting planning done. Mapped out our trip down so far and now have to input into GPS. Still have Sling in shop waiting for some parts to arrive, been sick this past week so couldn't ride anyway.
Every night before going to sleep I think, ok what do I have to do still, what should I take, how should I pack everything, have I forgotten something, all for this event.
So looking forward to it

Prices & Landing Page updated with more detailed information to help make your decisions easier on purchasing a Polaris Extended Warranty from Ball Equipment! If you have any questions, don't be afraid to give us a call and our customer support reps will be happy to give you a better idea on pricing and answers for you.
@FixMyToysZach is this available for Canadian customers, specifically Alberta? I tried calling you service line but it says I cannot access that phone number from Canada. Is this a actual Polaris warranty or a third party warranty?
As well what is you experience with people making claims that have had "mods" done to there machines.
Thanks in advance -
Can you please explain exactly what a laser alignment is and what you do during the process. Are all slingshot laser alignments the same ?
Thanks@bigdew can you please answer my question, as well would you be able to do this at Slingshot in the Rockies event ?
Thanks -

All this Sling Shot in the Rockies is getting me excited
Our round trip plan will be about 12ish days. Can't wait to meet everyone including all you forum legends.
Took the Sling in today for recall work, felt good to hear her running again. Can't wait for some pieces to show up so I can get back on the road.
I've still got patches of snow in my yard, .
With all the miles on this trip I wonder if a vendor would be available to do a oil and filter change ? -
That is normal. Glad to see the grease on the bearing!
Thanks Painter, just odd to see that tube jiggling freely between the bearings. How is it held in place once installed?
Wondering if I should manually smash more bearing grease into those bearings before they install it ? -
And how about that shiny green swingarm...
Almost chrome-like!
Been working on some custom things
Hopefully getting swing arm and other recall work done, along with few other goodies to follow.
Once together I'll post some updated picks -
Got my new swing arm and between the two bearings there is a tube that is free floating. It is inside between the bearings ? Is this normal ? What is it for and how is it supported?Sent from my iPhone using Polaris Slingshot Forum mobile app

Thanks for all the info so far, much appreciated. Also forgot to mention that I have the Madstad dual windshield set up as well, this probably won't help the situation?

I am considering a WP exhaust system. I currently have a Madstad roof and will soon be installing a rear wing. Was wondering if anyone else has a similar set up and if they have any issues with exhaust fumes coming back into the cabin area ? I am also getting a Wyked hitch system, will the duals still work ? Down the road am also looking at a possible super charger so will probably look at the 2.5" system.
Thanks in advance for your input. -
I'm a hybrid variation of heel toe, but am more worried about the elbows in the side from my better half passenger when I accelerate a little quick.

Mark, Mr. @Slingshot Garage garage you and Shawna are some of the coolest down to earth people we know. We can't wait to get together and visit with you guys again, if it ever stops snowing around here. And yes let's plan a little get together the weekend before Sling Shot in the Rockies for anyone with a Sling who wants to get together here in western Canada.
I am currently on vaca with the family in BC. Got a ticket on way down from a smart assed Sheriff around Bragg Creek. So may fight it just on principle, so a extra road trip this summer.
Take care and we'll be in touch.Sent from my iPhone using Polaris Slingshot Info

The only reason I left the stocks in is because I am using a PRP 5 point racing harness now and if I ever get pulled over and someone wants to make a point I can still use factory. Only reason I do up the drivers side one behind the seat is to get rid of the annoying light on the dash.

84 days till this event!

I don't use factory belts, but they are still mounted in place. I just have the drivers one buckled behind my PRP seat.
Agree tis may be a recall that gets forgotten -
@mniron , take care. Hope ya get better soon.
Looking forward to meeting you and all others in the Rockies. -
Ya I hear you Canoehead, we recently had a shit load of snow here as well.
FedEx update has my Wyked hitch arriving on Friday, picked up my tow behind trailer, son-in-law to help me offload it out of back of truck today. Leaving on family vacation this weekend and plan on dropping some Sling parts off to get customized about 4 hours away while driving on way to vaca destination. Then have appointment set up for recall/ warranty work when I get home early May.
Starting to get excited about upcoming Sling season. -
I think your original question was "How to thank someone properly"
Well sir I think you've done that very respectfully and with great taste.
Also agree that sometimes you meet people and for what ever reason you become great friends and I'm sure he has the same admiration and respect for you.
Once again this forum shows the great quality in the awesome people here.
Congrats -
The reason I have not organized a group dinner is on the Wed night we and the vendors do a simple BBQ with a meet and greet so everone gets to know each other.Thurs for the first time is the Autocross which is all day then meet&greet at the vendor area. Fri is group rides Sat the hill climb after the raffle and prize presentations.
I am also talking to the town council about maybe something on the Fri evening.
I have for a reason not put together a group itinerary yet as always things are being negotiated.
I have no objection to group dinners as we do one in the Smokies but the money has to be paid in advance .You then have to give an exact number and the full amount has to be paid to the establishment a week before.
This event is jumping so an official group dinner would be at least a 100 persons and could possibly be 150.Ofcourse if you are 10-30 persons no problem.Another reason I had decided not to do a group dinner as folk want to ride. For the fist time ever at any event we have 2 days set aside for the Hill Climb and Autocross which most people signing up are very excited about and coming from all over for.I therefore need to plan in some extra rides whenever I can to accommodate folk who do not want to participate in the Autocross and Hill Climb.
Therefore @Br4hm4 andSLLE Canada We at Slingshotroadsters have no objection to you guys organizing and being totally responsible for a sit down dinner. All I ask is do it on the Friday night.I will halt. Negotiations to do anything with the town. This will NOT be an official Slingshotroadsters event and all publicity monies, payments your responsibility.
Once you confirm to me it's on I would put it in the itinerary as a dinner being organized by you guys.We will be doing the finalitinerary during the first week May so need your info by then.Ivor, hell of a fine job your doing bud . If youve got things in the works awesome, I'm not going to mess shit up. We are a pretty easy going bunch and I'm sure if there are some who want another opportunity to meet it can be incorporated and not to mess with your itinerary.
Please keep up the fine job your doing, looking forward to having a drink or two with ya when we're at the Rockies event.
Wyked hitch is in the mail and my pull behind trailer should be ready for pick up later this week
Cheers till then. -
