Any videos of Rab and/or Kyle D setting these records; just saying!!! Regardless, impressive results. I have had my SS over 100 MPH (quit laughing) and the turbulence was bad even then.

I would highly recommend that you give your dealer a call and talk to the service manager and ask them how you should handle it and see if they say it is ok to drive it to the dealership. Most likely you will not have any issue driving it to the dealership with the Knock sensor causing the code, but if something would happen, if the service manager said it was ok for you to that, you should be covered.
My SS engine light came on yesterday with error code 65551 with the #5 under it. It depicts Knock Sensor (Sensor Open). I called my dealer , which is 40 miles away, and the service manager talked with the SS tech and he said it was OK to drive. They are thinking it is something wrong with the sensor. Anyway, just to be safe, I am having it towed since I have tow insurance.

Another option that Jeff could consider is getting a longer silencer (i.e. and inch or so) and a longer outlet that would add another inch. With that, it could add another 2 inches to the exhaust which would help. The bracket would not have to be changed, only the silencer.

@Miller Time a gentleman in the FB group did some extensions on his welter, personally I think it looks horrible but to each their own.
However he did say it completely eliminated fumes.
I hope that Jeff responds as I would like to hear what he thinks. By the way, I do not particularly like the one you showed as it is to large. My thinking was a shorter exhaust extension and facing downward. However, thanks for your feedback.

Funcycle: The picture is not a complete representation of the way I would like to see the extension. The extension would be straight down and centered (not like in picture) but would have dual outlets . By the way, I was able to mount my Assault fender on the WP 2.5 boosted exhaust without the exhaust hitting the fender or bracket. I enlarged the bracket with a welded modification to where it fits in the middle of the swingarm and the stem is bent to fit the hole in the fender where the original bracket mounted. It works great.

To further help alleviate the exhaust fumes from your WP 2.5 dual boosted exhaust, has anyone thought about a tailpipe exhaust extension? (ie. maybe a tailpipe extension that would fit over the small part that extends from the silencer that would fit downward and extend out a couple of inches. I already have the fume deflectors but to be honest, it just does not do the job adequately. I sent a message to Jeff to get his feedback. The picture below is just food for thought and it could be powder coated black, make it chrome, or stainless steel. It think it would look good if made especially for the WP dual system.

Happy Birthday Sam!! It is time for another video (on anything).

OK folks. The ones who have used VHT Flameproof paint, its time to show us some photos to the ones who may be ready to pull the string

I think that this concept has potential. I am one of many SS owners who believe that tops take away from the SS looks, however, this concept has my interest. I am glad you are thinking outside the box.

@Trooper, : I have not tried it, but I am certainly interested in how yours turns out. As mentioned, the below paint appears to be a very high quality (Found on Ebay).
VHT SP102 FlameProof Coating Flat Black Paint Can - 11 oz.

During cold weather, I have the same problem as my SS will start and then cut off. It is fine when you start it the 2nd time. However, during warm weather, I have no problem with it starting the first time and staying on. I guess it is warm natured.

All assed or nothing! We don't do anything halfway around my place! Even when I screw up, it's all the way!
I almost agree with "Goats Hog" around my place. In the last sentence, take out the word "up" and that's me.

My prayers are with Bill and his family and hoping for a quick recovery.

I had the Welter dual exhaust installed at SSITS and I love it. However, I was wondering if anyone has painted the last pipe (the Y pipe) with some sort of high heat temperature exhaust paint to match the rear panel. Maybe Painter knows a little about this or even Jeff. I thought about black heat wrap but was informed that could cause the stainless steel pipe to crack over time.
If it can be done, maybe someone can recommend the best paint to do this.

We are at Cracker Barrel in Burlington, Gonna grab breakfast with @Sling Cat and then be on our way. Should be there before lunch
I live in Conover NC which is appx a little over 1 1/2 hours west of Burlington off of I-40. It is drizzling here and it looks like rain all the way to MV. Drive safe and take your time. The wifey and I are leaving around 1-2 pm when it appears there will be a dry window for a few hours.

Staying at comfort inn Tuesday. Thinking about leaving Monday morn to beat the rain..any suggestions?
I changed my reservation this morning at Comfort Inn from Tuesday to arriving on Monday as it currently appears to be some sun on Monday am. Tuesday does not look so good.
-
Gotta be Nitro!! Force induction and Nitro are safe and can be expensive, however, it does increase the chances to blow a motor.
-
For convenience, no doubt Comfort Inn in my estimation is the best. It is the closest hotel to the fairgrounds and in it's backyard. Hotel offers free continental breakfast, cookies in the afternoon (Whoopee), and towels to wipe down your SS.
