Piece of cake. Took about 10 minutes. Well worth it!
Cool thanks again. I googled and may I ask where did you get it?
Thanks. The e brake handle is from @gpcustoms
Cool thanks. Was the installation hard?
@Jimmy540i I couldn't tell you how long it takes to warm up. Typically if the knob could be too cold and I'm going for a ride, gloves are involved do to weather anyway.
Thank you for the pointers. Well, this is part of the reason I didn't get the aftermarket knob because I don't want it to be cold the moment I touched it lol....
NICE PICTURES! Say, that's 4 nice speaker ring accents
& that beautiful e-bake handle, where's you get it?
Both look pretty cool, which one do you like?
It's really a toss up, i'm leaning towards blk, the aluminum one might make the entire shifter + boot looks too short IMHO.
2, is my choice! But 1 ain't bad either!!!
yes, #2 would be a lil louder due to the brighter color (especially my SS being red). What color is your SS?
Yea, 2 works for me as well. You never forget your first three-way
Thanks. Looks like we have the came model (red SL), mind share pictures of your SS especially with aftermarket shift knob?
@Jimmy540i don't worry about the shifter being cold. It is only cold until the engine warms up. The heat that bakes your beverages keeps the knob warm. I have that black setup and love it way more than stock as far as feel and look are considered.
Thank you SOOOOOOOOO much for your pointer. How long would it take to warm up?
All those wicked mods, and still, the stock shift knob!!!!! Whaaaat's up wit dat????
Good Q. Let me explain
My goal in modifying cars / bikes is to upgrade the look / performance without the "Aftermarket-Look". Hence most of my vehicles are heavily modified and they still keep the subtle Stock-Look. This is why I choose the raw carbon fiber over glossy cf on the hood / dash / steering wheel / tail fin/ back-up camera / entry ways & speaker panels.
As why I choose to stick with the stock shift knob. Personally the factory knob looks fine & dandy to me. Don't get me wrong. I do like the look and feel of some aftermarket shift knobs, I was considering in between these 2 (They Look Great BTW):
1.
2.
The reason I didn't go for it is because since it gets so cold at night, my hand will be freezing. Stock knob would be not be as cold as the metal shift knob (plastic vs metal).
Heck, now I just looked at these 2 fine knobs again, I might just go for it. I'll just wear gloves at night
Thanks for the pointer. So which one do you prefer? 1 or 2?
ok, done a few more mods.
Here we go:
1. Humps are Greeeeeeeeeeat ~
2. Raw C/F gives subtle & OEM style Killa Look
3. the new dash total rocks, worth every penny
4. Glorifying your entry ways
5. This *really* look much better in person
6. Finally, a much lighter & smaller Key
