Was it Dex-Cool or something they said was compatible? I ran into that problem and will not let anyone put anything but Dex-Cool in my cooling system. The mixing was the problem it was not compatible.
Yes it was dex-cool I had nothing but issues.

That looks like a great place to live, no yard work,no windows to open, and the patina on the roof is priceless. Looks like plenty of ventilation, and who could complain about that front porch. Let’s have a rally there. At least we would mash the grass down so we could watch out for snakes.

What really pisses me off about it is...GM knows full well that their antifreeze is about like the Edsel....
If they admit it or just stop using it....every GM owner will sue them for damages....they are pretty much stuck using it. In the long run it’s cheaper for them to pay out a few warranty claims and deny the rest. Screw the customers....it’s our bottom line we need to worry about. Unfortunately this practice has become the new norm for corporations doing business. Not what’s best for our customers and reputation, what’s good for our stock holders and the CEOS next bonus.

The biggest problem is the middle word....acid....it eats the GM gaskets.....vehicles with 35,000 have experienced gasket failures. This is the reason I’ve had 3 vans that needed the lower intake gaskets changed..a very common problem with GM vehicles...
It’s eating the welded seams of our plastic over flow tanks.....that’s why I bought a metal tank from DDM....
These tanks have been the subject of warranty replacements by Polaris...
Agree so far every car I owned with aluminum intakes, the dexcool degraded the intake and gaskets. Big discussions on the issue on my forums. So from now on, I flush out the dexcool and run the old green stuff. My 3000gt, Impala, eclipse all had aluminum intakes and the orange crap ate them up.

Curious about your changing out the O2 sensor.
Did the old one go bad or was this a performance upgrade?
I got a code saying it was bad but to my surprise after replacing with one that matched ( it was for a Cadillac I believe). my mpg went up.

Installed mine behind the radio, mine is not water proof but it has not gotten wet behind there so not to worried. But I am interested in the one in the video. I found it on ebay for 41 bucks.

Agree 117 low humidity is way better than 90s with Oklahoma humidity. you walk out side and are soaked in 1 min.

When I gutted the cat +2 mpg
Header and duels +1 mpg since cat was deleted it did not make big as difference but would have been a +3 mpg
Added top - 2 mpg
CAI I did not notice any difference in HP or mpg
Replaced O2 sensor +2 mpg surprise it really made a difference.
70 or lower speeds 26 mpg
70+ normal speed for me 22 - 24 mpg
180 miles a tank average

The Democrats and the media would have you believe that the country is in the middle of an epidemic of mass shootings led by white supremacists.
Democrats and the media would also have you believe that the only possible way to stop this epidemic is to immediately suspend the Second Amendment and confiscate all semi-automatic weapons.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
While the three mass shootings that have occurred over the past several weeks are indeed horrific and tragic, they do not represent an “epidemic” of mass shootings.
In fact mass shootings that affect innocent and random people are exceedingly rare in our nation of almost four hundred million people.
Consider these facts about mass shootings via American Greatness:
Fact: There were 387 deaths from mass shootings in the United States in 2018 (defined as four or more shot—not necessarily killed—at one time). Of those, most were regular criminals as we expect to see in gang-related drive-byes, bar fights, and a strangely large number of shootings at parties (like this one). About 100 deaths were the result of the random, psycho-killer shootings that dominated news coverage for days and weeks at a time. Mercifully, those are quite rare. But that’s not the impression we are given by the news coverage.
Fact: There are more privately owned guns in the United States than ever before and the number of murders has been declining for decades and has been at or near a multi-generational low for several years. More guns, less crime.
Fact: There were 660 murders in Chicago in 2017. That’s nearly twice the number from mass shootings in the whole country and six or seven times the number murdered by random psychos mass-shooters. Chicago has some of the strictest gun control in the country. Maybe it’s not the guns.
Fact: There are between 1.2 million and 1.5 million defensive uses of guns per year in the United States. How many more murders, rapes, thefts, and assaults would there be without armed citizens?
Fact: There were more than 70,000 opioid deaths last year. That’s 4.5 times the total number of murders and 700 times the number of people killed by psycho mass-shooters. Yet, liberals want to enact far-reaching gun control laws and prevent Americans from defending themselves.
One hundred random deaths of innocent bystanders by mass shooters is by any measure a horrific loss of life, and devastation to countless families.
Yet in a country of 400 million people, it is hardly a crisis that requires millions of innocent gun owners, who have never committed any crime, to lose their rights.
Democrats famously refuse to let any crisis go to waste, but calmer heads must prevail during a time of high emotion.
If any additional laws are needed to prevent mass shootings are needed they should be carefully deliberated in a slow and methodical process using facts, not hyperbole and emotional appeals.
That said I personally cannot imagine any law that would deter a criminal bent on causing harm. The only thing that can stop a person like that is a good guy with a gun.

You can also add another 60 amp electronic fuse box you can control from your cell phone...you can program things to come on with the key. I have my heated riding gear on it so I can individually instantly adjust the temperature. My halos are on it too.
I love this thing.
It will add 6 more fused circuits that work off the key.
Damn they are proud of that thing. I think I paid 13.00 for my fuse block but it does not have remote access which I could care less about that.

Chain, it's a pretty small wire, I used it to trigger a relay to power my switched fuse block.
I have a fuse block wired in but it is always hot. I guess I should run a switch on fuse block.

I want to hard wire my dash cam to only come on when the key is turned on. The cigarette lighter is always hot so not a option. Yes I did search and could not find my answer. My question is where is the best spot to tap into.
