I liked the rep of the Continentals Danger Darrel got and it was a toss up with my Bridgestones and the Conti DWS all seasons. Both very good bang for the buck.
Appreciate it Andy but I use BFG Sport Comp II

I have BFG Sport Comp II also (from Discount Tire) and I really like it. Dramatic improvement over Kenda.
Yep, Bill and I both help Allen with this. I have the advantage of living in Rogers. I will be there some on Wednesday and Most of Thursday. My wife is trying to arrange to be off for Friday but may have to come up after work that day.
Hey Bill, just got work off approved last night...and I see deadline for shirt was yesterday
Any wiggle room in that or am I screwed?
Calling hotel now...
I think you meant Allen. He is at work today but should look at this soon. i will be contacting him this afternoon if he hasn't replied beforehand. Thanks buddy. Look forward to seeing you there.
I think SLR is a bit overused.
Got a Warning for 47 in a 30 on The Tail coming back from Maggie Valley. LEO was really nice. Wrote it as a 30mph turn instead of the 20 it was or he would have had to give me a real ticket. Sure glad I had slowed down by that point. No other tickets in the Sling. Haven't been caught.
Ok somebody make those for the SS cup holders
Might be nice but who wants HOT beer! My wife would love it for coffee. Always fresh and really hot!
Are you serious?! I need to do this! Would love paint job and supercharger... Might take me, what? 3 years? Lol...
I don't know. Saw a "homeless" guy by a McDonald's in Jane , MO collecting money on the corner. When his "shift" was done he got in his 2015 Mustang and drove off. Also saw a family get dropped off at the two entrances at Sam's in Bentonville. They were in a new Toyota SUV. The driver parked it at the Neighborhood market and took his station at the entrance there. Must pay pretty well.
Mine is a stock tire. This photo shows how the tire can hit the plate if it isn't angled out.image.jpeg
Yeah, that's my fender before I fixed the plate issue. I had just installed it and pulled it out of the garage to get a pic. Paramont sent me a long plastic spacer, still bent. I sanded the spacer down to ankle the plate out. Worked. Then I replaced the spacer with two 3/8" nylon washers that I sanded down to 1/8" on one side. I am much more satisfied with this but the QA-1s solved the issue. Never bottoms out now!
I found a negative about the fender last week. I hit a dip in the road and bottomed out. The tire grabbed the license plate and rolled it up under the fender. Made a hell of a racket.
I had the same issue with mine when I first put it on. Had discussions with irishdesigns (w Paramont) on the old forum. Mine was the first or second one installed. They sent me a plastic spacer and it bent again after a hard hit in a dip. I pulled off the spacer and sanded it at an angle and the problem was mostly solved. I went into a hard turn and dip going to Maggie Valley and it bent again. Bill Hahn installed my QA-1s the morning after I arrived and it hasn't happened since no matter how hard I drive.
Just need a spacer about 1/8" tapering to 1/4". You could use thicker if you want. Just give the plate a slight angle out at the bottom.
You HAVE to come to Eureka!!!!!!!!!!!
My wife and I did DC and Boston with our 13 year old grand daughter in July of 12 and our two 13 year old grandsons in June of 14. Soooo much better with grandkids than with your own kids. They actually like being with you
Bomgaars says "While both provide full synthetic protection, Mobil 1 outperforms Mobil Super™ Synthetic motor oil. Mobil 1 is also the world’s leading synthetic motor oil brand."
I only buy the Mobil 1 but not sure if ther is a diff. Looked at that a couple weeks ago and went ahead with the M1. Also, I get 10% off the $22.88 price.
Gotta love that life time discount.
She didn't even leave the garage
Wife and I drove her Charger to KC with our two youngest grandsons (16) to do back-to-school shopping. On the way back I pointed out that if we had two Slings we could have each taken a kid and we would have had even more fun!
Would love to but have a Bobcat rented for that weekend. Have to move 3 truck loads of dirt so I can sod. Retirement is killing me
Love my PRP SS seats but plan to add some more memory foam in the butt pad also.
@dangerdarrell it's funny you say that because @Joker256 had a similar suggestion to run them front to back. To me this had three drawbacks at the time I was designing the frame.
Yeah, my Trek Top on my JK has bows. I think it looks right on the JK because it's pretty square. Not saying I don't like the top, I do very much. I want to order one from you as soon as you start production.
I had the second UP top produced and liked it a lot but my wife loves to drive the Sling and couldn't get in and out of the drivers seat with it on. She has had both hips replaced. She really likes your top and wants one ASAP. She has had malignant malinoma is supposed to avoid too much sun.
If you need a guinea pig feel free to contact me
Just showed my wife. She really likes it. My only thing is I would prefer the canopy center supports were front to back. Maybe even angling in from the front corners then straight back similar to the hood panels.
Thanks Turbosling! Wife loves the coil pack cover too!
