Two piece... you can don and shuck the jacket fairly quick when the sauna begins. And you can tolerate the pants longer when skies are threatening.

I'll be stoned all week at Maggie how's the law out there feel about Mary Jane. Just follow the white sling that will be smelling like a skunk

The Maggie Valley Police, like most law enforcement agencies, get to see their fair share. They see it come into town from all over, in different forms, from all walks of life. And like most law enforcement agencies, they believe that it should not be used by the general public, but should be left to the professionals. Remember, if the Maggie Valley LEO are happy, we as a group will have a good time.

Been a while since I replaced mine... but no, they are not interchangeable. The passenger seat at the rear, not sure which side, has one horizontal bolt.

Not exactly sure what you mean by moisture "up in there". If you are talking about the spark plug boot and plug exterior. I would be thinking condensation. Happens from the heat and cold cycling of the engine. More prevalent if your ride is short duration and the engine did not get hot enough to burn out the condensation. The other possibility is you have some of that Alabama air trapped in there. Humidity here is killer...

Just guessing you are talking about the coil pack and spark plug area... If that's the case, with spark plug installed, you could spray some electrical contact cleaner in that well and coil boot to evaporate the moisture. Just make sure it cleaner evaporates thoroughly before re-installing the coil pack....

Airpump, tire plug kit, adjustable wrench, a few common size wrenches and Allen wrenches, battery jump starter pack, a small kit with socket wrench with different tips for torques head etc and a deep 17mm socket for lug nuts and a small flashlight. All of this and I can't figure out why my gas mileage sucks lol.

How heavy is your right foot?

Well, Hello @Haste Maker! And welcome to the best forum for all things Slingshot. You are just a shout down the road from us here in Cullman.
We planning to roll out early Monday. Want to get in early so we can throw rocks at the vendors as they roll in.

    Yep, we like em!

Your time of resistance comes after Maggie Valley...
    Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

I must have send a few double nut covers out with setscrews which are to short, they are M4 setscrews so anyone with the same problem can get longer ones at Loews or other hardware store. SORRY.
    :(:(;(

Did you see my Nut Cover? FANTASTIC!
You did a great job, mytoy!
All I had to do was go to the mail box.
From there on it was my ball...

Thank you @mytoy! Got my nuts covered today!

Tried a couple of different install methods. Tried to run the set screws down on the flats of the nut but that left no bite threads remaining in the cover. Spun the cover to have the set screws bite the ears of the nuts. Much better, but being a maintenance type, was uncomfortable with minimal amount of locking surface for set screw tip.

So.... ran the set screws down on the ears. Removed the cover. This left a nice mark from the set screw seating. Grabbed a center punch and punched those marks. Used a drill to make a nice dimple recess. Re-installed the cover and ran the set screws down to bite into the small dimples. Locked in now!

@Travis, good that you have a plan. I looked seriously at that location because it is extremely accessible and can be grabbed on exit...

But, I am the negative type. The glass is always half empty... I can tell you 100 ways something won't work long before I can tell you how it will work. (Yep, the wife hates me for that crap)

...and in the case of your mounting, it fell to people will be kids. Didn't want to come back to a nasty yellow powdered out Sling. That may never happen, but once would be too much... I opted for the lower chance of probability.

Is my location the best, nope. But people in my Sling will know it is there and folks outside will not...
