    This is the actual Polaris Warranty that can be extended to 60 months. For the most part, I discourage anyone that has or has had mods installed on machine for getting extended warranty due to complications that may occur with servicing under warranty.

    @FixMyToysZach, if I get you my VIN, can you give me a price? I don't know what all is covered, or how much the warr is. The dealer I bought from has overpriced about everything, and can't fix anything without messing something up. Never going back to them. I'll be using a dealer out of Indy from now on, but have yet to have any work done by them.

    @Joker256, I'm pretty sure that's a 2016.5. I got one shortly after they started releasing them. If I'm not mistaken, the 2016 had red and black seats. I can't speak for all 2016.5 Slings out there, but mine has been great overall, and I'm very happy with it.


    @FixMyToysZach, I'm planning to buy an extended warranty also. I thought I'd wait until about this time next year, maybe 30-60 days before mine expires. I bought it May 22nd of 2016. My only thought of holding off is that I'm driving the wheels off this thing and something could happen between now and then that could change my need for it. Would that make it any more difficult to get, as long as I'm still well before the warranted period is up?


    @Goats_Hogs, You are able to purchase anytime before it is up. I suggest not waiting until the last few days but other than that you are okay with waiting.

    Yes, I would be happy to assist with this. The moment that was sold to the first buyer is when the 2 year factory warranty started. You are able to extend that warranty with any Polaris dealer. We are currently offering 25% off all plans right now if you were interested in a quote. When you get the VIN # I can get you a exact quote with the discount.     Guys, this is one HELL of a deal. I just received my package of over $250 worth of stuff for $50. REAL Polaris products in bags still with factory tags. Just one note (from my perspective) is the sizes run a little small. So if you're into a tight size whatever, you may want to order the next size up.     Good follow-up, thanks. No email from Mike, so I'm guessing it didn't go through. The gift card is from Navy Federal for my rewards points, but when I activated it, I didn't register it with my address because that takes too long on the website, and, well, I'm an impatient SOB. But, if there's anything we can do with that, it would be hugely appreciated.

    I talked to a guy named Mike, he told me the whole system has been rejecting gift cards lately. Hope that's not true - that's an entire segment of the market that's being excluded if that is the case. Anyway, he and I spent 10 minutes on the phone recreating the order, and he was going to try to push it through. If I get a confirmation email, I'll know it worked. If I don't, well...I will have missed out on some great deals. C'est la vie.

    Just spoke to our security administrator and it seems in the past we have had a great deal of issues with VISA gift cards due to there not being a valid address on file for that particular card. We have had a lot of issues with stolen cards in attempts to buy stuff from FixMyToys. We don't really receive many customers with them so our filters are naturally set to decline most of them unless there is an address attached to them.


    You would have to register a VISA gift card with an address and you will have no problem using it with our store. I apologize for the inconvenience. I can have my team try and run it through our brick and motor store which should go through fine. Let me know and I can speak with Mike and get that settled.

    Just an FYI, I quoted it wrong..it didn't say racing (could've swore I had read that somewhere)..It just says modifications not using OEM parts installed by an authorized dealer regardless of whether or not such modifications caused the failure will not be covered. It just seems to be too broad a statement and detracts from the warm fuzzy feeling knowing you're covered for chronic problems the SS has. With this kind of warranty you have to carefully choose the dealer who will be interpreting this.

    Yeah, any type of modification other than OEM parts and accessories would void the warranty in most cases. The extended warranty is mainly for those who still have a stock machine towards the end of their factory warranty. To get the best answer, every dealership is different in the way they deal with warranty claims, so my best advice is to speak with your local guys as they will tell you the do's and don'ts.

    This would be the Polaris Extended Coverage authorized and administrated by themselves. So to answer your question, yes this would be the one you are speaking of. We are an authorized Polaris dealership and currently offer some of the best discounts online exclusively.
