Hope Mary is taking good care of you.
I am driving her nuts. If I don't get this brace off soon and get doing things she will make sure my neck is really hurt with a few swings of the broom

So why can’t you just use some stainless screws if you want to be able to take it off and on....
Aluminum Rivets are cheaper..
I’m thinking if it squeaks or rattles could some double face tape be used before you fasten it together....
Personally I would use screws....
Probably because it's this ABS tubing that would not hold a screw more than a block down the road. You know what would happen after that would be catastrophic

give or take a couple of years I am older than dirt.
Gerald, I was going to ask if they had dirt when you were born but you answered that question for me already.
Was hoping to bring down a few hockey sticks to show you a game of street hockey this year in Maggie, but not sure if I will have the neck brace off by then and certainly sure my neck won't take the twisties so soon after surgery so will have to take a rain check on that. Have fun at bike week and in Maggie

was the "made in the USA" on the box intended to say the box was made in the USA or that the item in the box was made in the USA?
the parts

Only issue I see is the way it's all riveted together. Once it's assembled it's there. You have to drill the rivets out to remove the frame if you want it off.

Hope your day was enjoyable, this northern weather certainly sucks.

When I worked in the plastic injection industry we built the entire plastic body for the Polaris ranger. We did some tooling for the sportsman and a few pcs for other quads but we built the moulds and ran the parts for the ranger. We use to chuckle about what we had to do to all the tooling and parts. Every mould had "made in the USA " stamped in the moulding back to put this on all plastic parts. All boxes that the parts were put into also had made in the USA on them. But they were all made in Canada. Polaris had a big thing back then that they were 100% made in the USA . In other words don't believe everything you see or are told. It's all about the mighty dollar

My truck is an automatic, I kept trying to step on the clutch that wasn't there, good times!
my daily driver 3/4 truck was a standard that I drove for 15 yrs. when I got the new truck I got an automatic and still a yr later I find myself going for the clutch at lights

One day you may want to take a ride to the UP of Michigan and cross the bridge..
crossed it 10 minutes after buying my sling. It's quite the bridge on some days

Yes wear gloves always. Were I work it's mandatory to wear them. I have gloves everywhere at home and wear them when I work on things that can cut or scrape

I am not sure what or when it happened but found it when I was cleaning the sling up. Changed back to my 18" stock rim but like the looks of these and also the 20". wokka thanks for the offer but I have a stock base rim on it for now but just figured I would ask if anyone had one of these kicking around.
