I would like to give a thought to ponder...

When you're Trans, You Can't Hide!

If your bi or gay, you can go out in public and keep it hidden from everyone. And nobody will ever know. And you wouldn't have to deal with any type of, for lack of better words, discrimination, prejudice or bias...

When you're Trans, there is nowhere to Hide. You're out there exposed, you can't pretend you're not...'and it's those same old cliches, is that a woman or a man'...

So I would posit that people who identify as Trans have it much harder than some hidden gay, closeted CD, or Bozo the Clown looking drag queen...

It's damn sure not easy, but they're my heels so I guess I'll hafta keep walking in them...

    Thanks for listening...

    Fellow SlingShotters...

My opinion. Women's sports has been a joke even since before Title IX was enacted to screw things up.

I believe if u wanna play sports then one should have to play with the sex they were born with. No exceptions of any kind for any reason.

    Women wanna claim equality with men;

but they can't play by the same rules as men...women's college basketball is played in a 9 foot hoop, men's are 10 feet. Even the timing is different, men play 2 twenty minutes halves, women 4 ten minute quarters.

Tennis in the 4 major tournements men play a best of 5 sets, women a best of 3, yet want equal pay?

All of the Real TransWomen that I know aren't thrilled to be the latest Flavor of the moment.

Most of the assclowns are simply trying to get their 15 minutes and a pay day, and could care less about the damage caused.

They do not represent me or my views; anymore so than an inbred such as Dylan Roof represents our Southern Heritage...or any such other example of ignorance.

I'm going to give my take, being Trans and all; sorry Ed, hope we can still be friends...

I've never been one to care Why? Or put much faith in Rehabilitation...

Bottom line is 6 people died senselessly. We shouldn't care about Why? We should care about justice for the victims. Which in this instance has been served!

It shouldn't matter if it was a white male, black woman, police officer, trans, foreign national, illegal immigrant, mental illness, clueless idiot or any other Bullshit excuse. Wrong is Wrong Period, it doesn't matter who does it or for what cause.

Stupid comes in all races, genders and every family has that one. They ain't but one way to fix stupid...

    Thanks for listening.

Alrighty then. Elevating Devices it is...

It all started a couple weeks or so back. I posted about tire recommendations. Which led to an unexpected 100 mile ride in 50 degree sunshine! My floor jack is too tall. Next I inquired about trailers an gained education about ramp angle! Thanks!

For those with E.D., what do u recommend for oil, filter and tire changes? And, any preference when it comes to low profile jacks for the rear tire?

I considered building a wooden platform shaped like a U, maybe 18 tall with a short ramp on one side. Drive completely up on it, use a creeper...

Kinda hard to drive a motorhome and ride the Sling to the same place by yourself.

If I rent a motel room, of course in riding. If I'm staying in the campground...ain't but two other options; Don't Go! or trailer...

    Thanks everyone!

Glad I asked, I would have prolly screwed up on ramp angle..

Yes, the motorhome is plenty enuff to tow an 8x16 loaded...

I had already been looking at trailers before the Slingshot, and could use an enclosed for other purposes...

I don't intend on trailering the Sling often, situations like this or dealer trips for mods.

I just recently purchased a used motorhome.

Considering taking it to SSITS, I'll have to trailer the Sling up there and back.

    Therein lies the rub...

No trailer! I would like to find an enclosed if possible.

What would be some of the suggestions on what to look for that will make things better, more convenient or just easier?

Before I admit up to a Rookie error, I did do diligent research, I wanna thank everyone!

I went with a Continental Extreme Contact DWS +06...

Discount Tire is 40 miles one way, tire arrived and we made a 1pm that afternoon appt. It's already past 11, and 42 degrees.

I get the impact gun and find the socket. Turn on compressor and string out the hose. Scotch the front wheels.

I drag the 3.5 ton floor jack over and get it into position only to realize the jack is too @#$$&*)($! high!

By now it's almost noon, temp is around 46...

    Great Day For Ride!

When they put the tire on, I realized the tire tread wasn't symmetrical, which was one of the things I had been checking. Oh well, it's got a 60,000 mile life expectancy...which means I either ride it until it wears out...

Or I can complete in the Burnout competition at SSITS! and get a new one!

It made it all the way up to 53 degrees before I made it in!

Recently found out my 2020 R is still under factory warranty for another couple weeks.

It's says I still have the option to purchase an extended warranty...

    Not sure what is included?

Would anyone have knowledge if this would be a good investment?

    Thanks...
