We have a 16 camera setup here at the shop and it works good and can be viewed on my phone from anywhere, alarms can be setup, etc. It is a wired solution though and not wireless, I know someone who had a wireless setup and they had to shut off their cameras anytime they wanted to use the internet since the traffic on the network of 8 cameras slowed everything down, most likely they didn't have something setup correctly, but something to consider when choosing as I am not sure if that is common with wireless systems.

Careful in comparing dyno results from different machines, days, states, and dyno type. It's somewhat misleading if you are trying to apple to apple data.

Wish I had more E85 options by me. I'd love to run some cooler fuel on the stock engine and push some more boost through it...

Absolutely agree with this. Dyno's are a tool for measuring and different dyno's measure differently. The best way to use a dyno is to get 3 pre-modification runs that all line up, then make the change and then get 3 post modification runs that all line up. See what the power delta is and if it was a positive or negative change, or what you wanted and proceed from there. When testing new products for power it is actually even better to get 3 pre dyno's that all line up, 3 post dynos that all line up and then go back to the original setup and make sure it lines up with the original pre dyno runs, A-B-A testing is great and will really show if you are making positive changes. While running the dyno it is also important to make sure you are starting the runs at the same coolant temperature and intake air temperature since those will have an effect on power. Ideally you would also like to monitor transmission, angle drive temperature and oil temperature also to make sure they are consistant on every run. All that being said, comparing a dynojet readings to a dynocom or dynopak readings in different parts of the country, in different weather conditions really doesn't mean much.

As for E85, it is lots of fun, but we prefer water/meth injection and have done that a lot on higher horsepower builds. We typically tune for using the -20 windshield washer fluid and gain around 10% at the wheel, about the same as E85 and if you run out of the windshield washer fluid you can pick it up at almost any gas station or autoparts store. :)

My wife surprised me tonight when she came home. She said I looked depressed after hearing how much power Rabtech's slingshot was putting out. So she told me she bought me something new that goes from 0 to over 200 in less than 3 seconds and it's outside in the driveway. I bolted out the door as fast as I could. Sure was right there. She bought me a shiny new gloss Black bathroom scale. ;(;(;(

LOL, and that is a great way to end the night :)

I'll check on the uncoated option, we should be able to do that though, but would need to know before they ship.

As for the links, kinda depends on what else you have. If you are running coilovers I would suggest the links so that you can adjust the links to take out any preload in the sway bar, if you are on stock shocks, just stay with the stock links. The stock links are actually a pretty nice setup, just not adjustable.

So with a more aggressive handle expected what will happen to the comfort of your ride when you're not peddle to the floor and just out for a leisure cruise

The sway bar generally does not affect the ride as much as going to higher spring rates. Also we have found that the rear shock really determines most of your ride comfort.

The next batch of these sway bars are going to be offered in both red and also in silver. The other thing that this next batch will have is adjustability to the sway bar with 2 settings to help fine tune it also.

    So.... Out the door price?

I know I basically need about another $17k to have my wish list... Paint, speed, and wheels/tires... That's it!

$4900 for the kit in standard black or red, $5000 for it installed here at our shop with a pre and post dyno.

Here is a link to the Rotrex Supercharger kit - DDMWorks Slingshot Rotrex Supercharger Kit

It is also for sale through Slingmods now - Polaris Slingshot Supercharger Kit by DDMWorks

We can tune it to run on a stock exhaust, the 1320 exhaust and header or the Welter duals right now, although any good 2.5" exhaust will work.

Let me know if there is anything else I can answer for you about it.

Sorry but I'm confused. If stock is around 170hp shouldn't the pull show a greater number than 118hp - stock even had a CAI which I would think would be good for a couple hp - I know I'm missing something basic here so I appreciate your understanding and education

Most companies are using a Dynojet dyno, which typically reads higher than our dyno. The dynojet dyno's are just a big metal drum that is spun up for the dyno reading. The dyno we use has 2 drums, but the main difference is that it has an eddy current load cell and we dyno with that on. The load cell puts a load on the engine and drivetrain and pulls the HP and torque numbers down lower than typically most people will see on other dyno's. So for us, that number for a stock engine is pretty typical, but on other dyno's people typically see around 150-160hp.

We have a customer that upgraded from the Alpha turbo kit to our DDMWorks Rotrex supercharger kit and so we have this really nice kit available for sale. The customer only had it installed for a couple hundred miles as you can tell by the condition of the tubes and other parts in the pictures. Alpha advertises this kit as making 254HP and 272 ft/lbs of torque on their site. The tubes are powdercoated in the wrinkle red finish and it will also ship with the oil pan, so everything is there for the install. The turbo is still very tight and in great shape. The intercooler looks great without any damage to it. This is a great kit for someone looking for a good quality kit and a great deal. This kit is on sale at Slingmods right now for $4350, regular price is $4850.

$2700 OBO shipped to continental US without tune. The tune is available through Bob@Mefiburn and we can help you get in touch with him to get that done.

More information on the kit can be found here -

We had a great time here on Friday, a bunch of folks showed up for a dyno day and also a Rotrex install. It was really nice to meet @Sling Cat and have the chance to install a Rotrex supercharger on his Slingshot. We thought it would be fun to time an install this time since we haven't timed any of the installs in the past. We started by running his Slingshot on the dyno and getting 3 nice dyno pulls for a pre-install reference, then pulled his Slingshot around to start the install at 11:15am. We fired it up for the first time at 1:00pm, just under 2 hours later. After doing a couple runs up and down the road to make sure everything was good, we put it back on the dyno and did some post install pulls. The install came out great and the new power was a nice bump over what he had.

The compact Rotrex unit and mounting plate installed, ready for the charge tubes to go on -

Things are starting to come together -

Charge tubes installed, fuel rail installed with Siemens 63# injectors and 2 bar MAP sensor -

All complete and out for some testing -

Back on the dyno for some post install dyno runs -

Making some pretty good numbers on the dyno -

@rabtech - You have mail with pictures :)

Just want to say all of us here at DDMWorks had a great time today having everyone come out and doing the dyno's today. I will get some of the other dyno's from througout the day posted up tomorrow, but the last Slingshot on the dyno was Rabtech's and it was a great way to finish the day off.

Thanks again to everyone that came out and @MACAWS and @Wrenchmn should have some neat things happening very soon :)

Thanks for the kind words, we are all looking forward to seeing it on the dyno this Friday to see what kind of numbers it puts up.
