I hope Ben let’s you keep them. I would like something that covers more up top but these are tempting. Thanks for posting!

Well, I guess its more of a non-mod than a mod, but after a week of running without the front fenders I have come to two conclusions. The first is that I like it without the parachutes I like the way it looks and the airflow just seems smoother. The second conclusion is that I don't think I am going to bother installing any trim strips to cover up the stock mounting holes. I actually dont think it looks bad with the exposed holes and more importantly I like the idea of the holes acting as a vent right next to the stock muffler - God knows these things can retain heat so having this extra ventilation has to be good thing. So anyway - this is todays non-mod, no cover strips needed or at this time wanted. - I like it just as it is

I really like the clean look with them removed and have considered doing the same thing. It rains so much here this time of the year so I can be the canary in the coal mine.

I’ll be the turd in the punch bowl wrt this inane nattering about R VS D. Who wishes to kill the unborn and who doesn’t. Which party wants to”defund the police”? F the dems, Canadians and anyone that agrees with either are bound for wrath. Signing off from this forum. Thanks to all who were kind and helpful in our decision to buy our SS last year. I will embrace my Lord and Saviour and humbly step away from these discussions.

It does not have to be a R. I started my search when I managed to stash enough cash for a S model. Since then I have been stashing more away and moving up in models as I got the cash. I have never driven any slingshots myself. About the only thing that im pretty set on is I want a manual shift.

We started out looking for a white lightning S and there were none to be found. Polaris stopped taking orders for them so we started looking into the two R's that were still available. I'm glad we went that route. The only upgrade we have made is adding the color matched roll hoop speakers. I have plenty of projects to tinker with and like having a turn key toy to just jump in and go.

I have the cash to buy one, just cant find one in my area. Went by my local Polaris dealer today, they said if I ordered now, maybe Aug/Sept time frame.

We ordered our R model with manual transmission and no upgrades last September and were told late December for delivery. The build was completed in about two weeks and we took delivery in late October. Transportation from Huntsville to Jacksonville, FL took longer than the build time. I hope you get one soon, best impractical purchase we ever made!

I have a very good dealer thank you. I had remorse the day after I cancelled and went back to talk to the Sales manager. Told him I still want the ATV but have received my deposit back. He said the order has not been cancelled and the ATV was mine when it came it. I asked him if he wanted the deposit back and he said no he didn't need it.

I agree, Holeshot is great. Hope your new toy arrives soon!

We picked up our 2021 R model last October. On the way home the left side audio started popping intermittently. This happened off and on for a couple weeks before the left side quit working altogether. During the 500 mile service the techs isolated the cause to a bad amplifier. Had to wait a few weeks for a replacement to come in. Dealer replaced it under warranty in December, haven't had any issues since then.

Short run south of Green Cove Springs, Florida today. An unexpected trip to urgent care this morning delayed us by about 3 hours. Beautiful spring weather in Florida, not a cloud in the sky and temps in the low 70s.

Never caught up with the Vanderhall's owner, but ran into the owner of the beautiful jade green Grand Touring SS with color matched Corbin hard bags. Hadn't crossed paths with him in almost 20 years. Small world!

Good Morning Derichio02. Finally got our speakers yesterday afternoon on our 2021 Stealth Blue R. Installation took around 45 minutes at home. It would have taken less if I had the correct sized spanner on hand. Had to do some grinding to make my 2.5" wrench fit the locking ring on the fuel filler neck. Makita 1/4" impact driver and torx bit set made easy work out of everything. I was happy to see there were already square holes cut for the speaker wires to pass through. Took a little patience to hook up the driver side plug due to space, but all in all easy job that saved $354.75 if the dealership had done it.

This is a very simple install and I would in no way pay $330 to have it installed. The wiring and connectors are already there, its not like they are installing an amp or running new power or speaker wires. Based on your comment above you could get this done in less time than what they are quoting you :).

I saw an earlier post that that some of the Rockford Fosgate amps are defective. How can you tell if the amp is bad? Thanks

Our 2021 R audio started acting up on the way home after picking it up from the dealer last October. Left hand foot well speaker started popping then would work intermittently. Left audio quit working entirely a few weeks later. Dealer replaced the amp under warranty in December. Still waiting on our roll hoop speakers to arrive, ordered Thanksgiving weekend.

Wow, holy poop! That was one heck of a ride. I look at that and I have to say it's one incredible piece of engineering marvel. How much flex and stress that aircraft took without breaking into pieces. I believe it's a Boeing aircraft.

Not buying it, but some impressive CGI, indeed. Real aircraft crumple like Reynolds wrap when punished.

I been collecting brass. I buy it or pick it up at the gun range then load them up. I have a big supply of 10 different calibers so I will be ready when they become the currency of choice. I as able to buy primers for the first time this week. It has been over two years now since I been able to get any.

Gold and silver is real petty but I like polished brass.

I have a question for you Mr. Johnson. I have quite a few primers that have been in storage since the late 90's. Do you think they are still any good? Still have my reloading gear and finally at the point where I can get back into it.
