I have a set of Race Ramps. Used them to put on my exhaust. Mostly got them for changing oil.
which series did you buy for the slingshot?

Display MoreI saw the BEST bumper sticker of all time today. It said, "If you won't stand behind our military, maybe you belong in FRONT of them".
Truer words never spoken. It's just sad that the typical person only thinks of them on Veteran's Day, 911, D-Day or the 4th of July. I'd rather think of them the other 361 days of the year.
To all who have served, we owe you more than you can imagine. Thank you just isn't enough.
P.S.
I remember several years ago, there were 4 soldiers in uniform in line at a food court section that only sold pretzels and sodas. I walked ahead of them in line and said, "sorry, I'm in a hurry". I bought a drink and paid for it and then left the cashier 2 extra $20 bills. I told her that whatever the soldiers wanted, was on me. If it wasn't enough to cover it, I'd be watching from one of the tables and I'd be back to cover the balance. When the guys tried to pay for their snacks, the look on their faces was priceless. You would have thought that I shared the lottery winnings with them. They came over to thank me and you could see in their eyes that it made their day. Honestly, it made my day more than they'll ever know
Well done, good Sir! I wish more folks like you were doing the same nationwide.
Maine progressive 275 a year full coverage 500 deductible
Great price, but I will gladly pay more to avoid shoveling snow
I just checked our policy renewal for October with State Farm in Florida, going up $7 for 6 months to $158.84 for full coverage on a 2021 R model with$500 deductibles. Sorry to hear you are getting the runaround and extortion prices elsewhere.

April 2020 comes to mind. I don’t expect a rebound this time around.
I put that individual on ignore weeks ago. Too bad his requotes still come through. Expecting a logical thought out of him is as rational as picking up your dog’s poop and expecting it be milk chocolate. Every. Single. Time. It. Opens. Their. Primary. Orifice.
Not a snowflake here, not melting, just not interested in the inane ramblings of delusional people like him.
Display MoreWell - - - it finally happened.
My wife came home from a retreat organized by a charitable organization she volunteers for last Thursday with a slight fever decided we should test her for Covid and she tested positive. I knew that if she had it there was a very high probability I would get it as well, Just no way one of us ever gets sick without the other one getting the same thing - - - and sure as shit Saturday morning I develop a mild fever and also test positive
We are both doing just fine, a little fatigue the fevers lasted less than a day - - I am very glad we are both fully vaccinated I highly suspect this is the reason why our symptoms are so mild - - - except for the fever I have have had colds worse than this and neither one of us has lost our ability to smell or taste - - YEA!
On the bright side from what I have read this should now give us the best protection possible from any future variants of Covid - - when you are vaccinated and have also recovered from the virus they say it gives you a super immunity - they call it hybrid immunity - and they say its a much stronger immunity that either natural immunity or vaccination immunity by itself
anyway - just thought I would share
Glad to hear you both just had mild symptoms and didn’t lose your taste or smell. One year later and my wife and I still haven’t fully regained either. Hope you are back to 100% soon.
KC-97 Stratofreighter. Production 1951 - 1956
Thank you! That’s one I had never seen and it was driving me crazy.
Hi Todd, I got a letter this past week regarding the Dec 2021 software update. Is this what you received? I haven’t had any issues with my backup camera but the maps rarely work.
thanks I love to play with stuff like this 👍
what resolution did you use and what was the print time? Looks great!
I only knew a handful, but I enjoyed the list. Reminds me of things I should know by heart though. Things like my grandkids birthdays, my mom’s favorite dessert, the preamble to the Constitution, and the Lord’s Prayer, to name a few. Wow, when did I get old?! (Btw, the punctuation is an interrobang)
Display MoreSix weeks ago this Magistrate recused himself from a suit filed by President Trump that involves the Clinton's stating he couldn't be fair due to his publicly known bias against Trump. however he signed the warrant. He is also on Biden's short list for a Federal Appeals Court seat.
So yes and no.

Golly Jeepers!!! Who’d a thunk THAT would ever
FWIW: When I was looking and before I bought my used one a month ago, I talked to dealers about a new S or SL. Two dealers in my area both stated that no new S or Sis can be ordered this year, you will have to get a '23 S or SL. You can still order a new Slingshot higher than SL right now, but for S and SL you have to wait until they start taking '23 MY orders.
I had the same experience last year, could only order an R model, which was out of the “wife approved “ budget. Then one night I dreamt of a 2021 Stealth Blue R and Judge Reinhold was the salesman. “Afford it??? F****n Finance it”!!! I placed a deposit the next day and took delivery a month later. No regrets
No --- probably a little more special than "Big Bird". Years ago I was spending some time in a Cessna 150. Not to knowledgeble about different air craft.
Haha, probably so! I was hoping the museum website would list it but I didn’t see it. Hope you enjoyed your Cessna time. My wife wouldn’t go for me taking flying lessons, but she did agree on us buying a Slingshot
EJ, do you recall the designation of the aircraft in the bottom picture?
I buy my dog food there and many other hardware/outdoor supplies. I have heard of AgPro but we don't have any in my area. If I ever run by one I'll be sure to check-it-out!
Do yourself a favor and stay away from AgPro. It’s like Toys R U s for adults! I went to buy a chainsaw and came home with a JD 1025R with a front end loader and bush hog. Plus a trailer, box blade and rototiller!
Display MoreStarting a business takes a massive commitment, financially & emotionally. Many fail leaving a mountain of dept and stress. To those that succeed, Congratulations you have taken an idea and risked it all. You are what makes this country great.
Unfortunately, many politicians vilify success and when it's achieved, they want to tax and overregulate it so they can benefit from your risks while in turn no risk is involved on their behalf. Not a bad gig.
https://www.shopify.com/blog/p…e-of-businesses-that-fail
Considering the risks, challenges, and uncertainty involved in running a business, it should come as no surprise that the latest statistics show that more entrepreneurs chose to shut their businesses as the years pass.
The percentage of businesses that fail increases to 31.2 percent in the second year and 38.8 percent in the third year. By the fifth year in 2021, the new business failure rate reaches 49.7 percent.
That means that only half of the businesses that started in 2016, or 368,967 of them, to be exact, were still surviving half a decade on.
Theses same principals from “congress” (opposite of “progress”) apply to investors who assume all risk, and get “rewarded” with long and short term capital gain taxes, to ensure they pay their “fair share” while MOOCHERS get rewarded for paying nothing into the system.
Tractor Supply is my second favorite “chore” place to go in the sling when I load it up with cat food. My first is AgPro to buy John Deere tractor parts just to see the look on peoples faces
Display MoreThe left likes to push the idea that the rich get rich by taking money from other people, they like to make it seem like the money supply is fixed and the only way one person can get money is to take it from someone else - - - this is why they push this concept of punishing those they call the 1%
The reality is that the 1% create jobs and in the process create new money that not only makes them rich, but also puts money in the pockets of all the people down the chain in the jobs they create
And the one giant truth the left never wants to talk about is the fact that the one group of people that actually does get their wealth by taking money away from other people isn't the 1% - - - its the Government and the politicians - - they are the true leaches of society
Government produces nothing, they earn no income, the only money they ever have or ever spend is money they take from working people with real jobs.
Reminds me of Atlas Shrugged…three classes of people. Producers (working folks), Looters (politicians), and MOOCHERS (do the math, NOT conservatives). Google Ayn Rand and the “equalization of opportunity act” from the same book. George Orwell wrote feel good stories in comparison to this woman. Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World” is a close second to “1984”.
