IE, you get an appraisal done on your property as you want a loan for improvements. They appraiser comes back with X dollars value for appraisal, and is willing to give you Y dollars for a loan based on the appraisal value. You can't negotiate that number with the appraiser.
Actually you can, and should. Not to mention different appraisers will give you different values, as mentioned previously the number is not fixed. You cannot look up your address in a book and it will give you your homes exact indisputable value. I can go online right now and find a half dozen different estimated values for my property. Same goes for a business.
Your business does X amount of business. Your financial statements show that performance, whether good or bad. That performance number is not negotiable. It's a representation of your business performance at that point in time.
When you apply for a loan you are selling your future performance and ability to repay. When your income and business performance is based on fluctuating values well then please refer to previous posts outlining that process. The entire process is a negotiation by definition.
Completely different than selling something, of which prices are always negotiable as it's what people are willing to pay for that product/service.

He is not selling anything. Big difference between bargaining for a deal on an item for sale, and fudging your financial statements. Financial statements are not negotiable, they are a representation of your business performance at a set point in time (when the statement was created). Does it change, yes, is it a negotiable number. NO.
...... The only way your claim holds true is if market valuations were a fixed commodity and as you know that is false. Business value, real estate, a person's marketability, value of influence, and how they will perform in the future are in fact always negotiable.

Only this one is not just word play but a whole cloth distortion of fact meant to make the reader/listener believe that something untoward was in fact done but the banks were too incompetent to find it.
Um......no......
Officers from the banks testified in open court that not only did they fully review then gladly accepted the "financial statements" as presented, but would do it again. That is their prerogative and the definition of due diligence.
No harm no foul and everyone had a happy ending.......

I am not disagreeing that the loaning institution didn't do their full due diligence. The issue is he falsified his financial statements, to benefit getting what he wanted. That is fraud anyway you look at it. Just like if you falsify info on your mortgage app, or loan app to the bank and get caught. Its fraud.
What financial statements did he falsify, and please be specific.
The case is based on the assertion that he inflated property values on loan applications, period. Which again is not illegal or "fraud". Wordplay doesn't make it true, which is why it will be overturned on appeal.

It's irrelevant the fact he got a loan and paid the loan back, it's about the fact he falsified information to get the loan at preferred rates that would not have otherwise been attainable. Falsifying information to get something is fraud, not matter how you look at it. Whether it's was the average Joe who falsified info to get a loan or a mortgage, or Trump who does it. Fraud is fraud.
When you use property for collateral you hire someone who will evaluate that properties estimated market value at the highest possible amount, present that value, and then it is up to the loaning institution to accept that value or have their own appraisal done and counter. You do the opposite when it comes to tax valuation. That sir is how it works (unless you are a moron) and is in no way "fraud".

Problem is Kanye while not the same level as Fuentes, has publically stated he like Hitler, and Nazi's. I have a hard time believing that Trump has no idea who many people are, as he has used that statement many times. Just because he has never met them, or been photographed with them, he has no idea who they are.....gets him out of his jam, but I still believe it's BS.
Ah yes, I forgot......we should judge/condemn people we don't know/have never met, based on public opinion, biased reporting, because we are told to, and out of fear from our opposition, rather than actually waiting until we find out who they are, what they actually think/do, and discern for ourselves why.

President Trump didn't know who Fuentes was and had no interaction with him at the function. The aftermath fractured the relationship between President Trump and and Kanye who has not been invited back to any functions since.

The last time I went to the doctor he suggested to get a stimulator. I do not know anyone that has had one and whether it works or not. Until then I will just keep on with the Hydrocodon to take the edge off and just like the past two weeks that has not helped and I refuse to take more per day.
Wife has a permanent Medronic Intellus spinal cord stimulator (IMO the current best) to control the chronic nerve pain from her damaged arm (probably should have just cut it off) and fusions from C2 to C7. After 5 surgeries she was maxed out on Opioids, nerve blocks, and muscle relaxers before they did it. She is now just on Gabapentin. Literally saved her life and gave it back to her.
I hate Doctors but after living through it would urge you to at least consider talking to a rep (Medtronic reps are all medical professionals who are involved in the surgeries, not salesmen) if your doc thinks it could help. Can't say enough about the result, care, follow up, and support they have given her over the years. Rare these days.

What IMO makes this so criminal on the part of the Judge is that even after all the valuation deductions afforded by Palm Beach for a historic property and about a dozen other things (my tax base value is around 1/3 of my Insurance appraisal which is lower still than estimated sale value) a simple public records search shows just on the residence (not the club) over $525K was paid in property taxes in 2022 with a tax valuation of over twice what the Judge claimed. How is that not the absolute minimum valuation by law.

I'm no big fan of Ronna McDaniel. It's no secret but I think it's full-on way over the top obvious for the last couple of years. Can these executives be that stupid it's not noticeable? I got so fed up with BS shows like "the view" "morning Joe" which I from time-to-time check in but quickly change the channel in disgust. Don't these executives take a moment to stop and think that disgust might carry over to other viewership among total program viewership? Is it at the point they just don't care?
