Not anti-vax either, but I am not a fan of the covid vax. Rushed, lack of testing, can get to some interesting data on CDC site no-one talks about with it having more reactions/adverse affects then flu shots over the last few years combined. You all just lost me on the science of all of this when we released prisoners vs giving them masks. When we have a wide open boarder and no-one cares about the impact it's having on covid... I could go on with all the hypocrisy when it comes to kids and low risk groups but that's the science we chose to ignore.
I will agree. Vaccinate when you are ready...
As for masks... As I've said it before... What's the worst that would happen if anyone wears a mask...? Does it work 100%? No. Does anything? But if it does protect that one person or group of people, then why not just do it? That's something I don't get about some people. I hate the masks! But I have to wear one everyday for work and wear it when out if I have to interact with anyone.

We can debate the issue of weather it was correct to withdrawal or not. If our leadership didn't take into the account that it's not a good idea to remove the mechanisms needed to safely remove our civilian personnel and military assets prior to that removal, well we've some real bumble heads at the top!
I'm not sure what your credentials are, this is not the place to tell you mine. This is an incredible moral boost that will provide a platform for terrorists for years to follow. It's bad. Imagine what it must be like for the U.S. civilians stuck behind desperately trying to make it to the Kabul airport that is surrounded by unfriendlies with limited resources to get them there.

Unfortunately, in some cases, NOT ALL, it seems some *think* they know, but it's almost like an invincibility complex of a drunk... "I'm okay... I'll be okay... I can drive... One more drink...", then bam, they take an innocent life and keep on with theirs. Obviously there are stark differences, but in a nut shell, I think that's what you're getting at.
And yes, you are correct about protection wearing down. And the science (though of course some will cite their own science) states that this delta only exists BECAUSE people aren't getting vaccinated and it keeps mutating to different strains... Yes, just like the FLU. Only this is a FLU on steroids and looking for vengeance. Much quicker, much more dangerous, but nah, people can't believe science or the fact it's going on in other countries... It has to be political... 🙄
Sorry for the rant, just backing up and supporting what Phil is sharing. It gets me angry to know that if someone I care for, here included, gets sick, that hospitals are overwhelmed and they may not get the treatment and help needed. If you don't believe in masks, don't believe in vaccines, don't believe in the virus, then why are you going to the hospital for help?!? Makes no sense to me...

Yes - Phil took the Moderna - he and I are convinced he would already be dead if not for this vaccine. Maybe younger healthier guys not taking the vaccine is a choice - if your older with medical issues your chances are much better if you contract this disease - and then ya may still not make it. A very scary time my friends !!

Maybe Pfizer doesn't protect as well against the virus versus moderna, but maybe the effects from the virus aren't as severe with Pfizer versus Moderna?
