Probably the last ride for awhile as they are calling for snow tomorrow, but got to 60's today so headed to PPIR raceway to play with the diesel trucks. Was fun to get it out for another ride and wear out that rear some more to justify to the wife that I need new tires!

A quick update and huge thank you to everyone who helped, I located the correct adapter plug at sling tunes prt# SSRCS and it does plug into the rear of the head unit of ride command in the empty plug in.

Do you by chance have a link to this part? Tried searching sling tunes and not finding it. I'm looking for the plug I can use on 18SL, really just want to feed a 5ch amp for some better interiors and some passenger side subs. Thank You!

They are having an event at Pikes Peak International Raceway this Saturday and noticed they have an open to all 1/8 mile drag option. Was thinking it might be a good idea to see what the sling is now so I have a comparison point for after the stage 1 turbo is installed. Good idea, bad idea? I'm not going turbo to race it and don't plan on going above stage 1 anytime soon. Will be cold (40'-50's) on the day they are doing this if weather predictions hold, so not sure how much of a comparison that would be anyway... Thoughts? Trying to decide if I should go lol

Headed up to Cripple Creek, CO today with a few other slings. While it was close to 80 driving up there coming home after dark was 43 which is fine until you get to interstate speeds. Electric blanket worked, but kinda parachuted a bit. Next time when I try to leave as the sun is going down maybe the wife will come out of the casino :D

Helping a friend move on Saturday or I would be in.

Only two for Breck, so changing it up. Leaving springs around 2 and headed up to the creek if you get done moving at a decent time! Need to get left behind by some of you turbo/super slings so I get motivated to get mine done. ZZP rear exhaust showed up today when I swear it was just yesterday Kyle said they were shipping it - crazy fast!

Swapped out the license plate holder today getting rid of that plastic look on the back. Has reflector mounts but since oem ones were glued to that plastic I need to get some with a bolt to replace. Kept the quick disconnect on that light so I can remove with the same two bolts that held the OEM one in place. Had a wire to make it blink vs steady on, but didn't mess with trying to hook that into the breaklight as it was continuous blink for that wire... You could also move this back more, but wanted to use the stock holes/setup. It was $22 bucks on ebay

Steve! Nice of you to finally drop in. I have known Steve for a lot of years. Great guy!

Thanks buddy - I wasn't 100% sure if that was you or not looking at the names wokka posted. Headed to breck on Saturday or supposed to with a few folks to see the troll. Should come!

Welcome aboard. You've made some good mod choices there.

What part of CO are in you, we have a few members from there already, CO Springs area mostly I think.

Thanks man! I'm in Peyton technically but it's pretty much NE springs these days!

New guy here, started in July of this year when looking for trikes I stumbled across a 18' SL for sale with 1850 miles. I shared the marketplace listing with the wife and she just replied back yes. It was love at first drive and finally a hobbie the wife enjoys too! She really likes this group in CO we hooked up with and hoping to do our 3rd or 4th ride with that group this coming Saturday.

Since getting it we have done the following to it:

    DDM Swaybar

    DDM Coolant Tank

    Twist Valve cover

    Real hood vent

    Floormats

    BRP Seat covers

    Short shifter, boot, cue ball

    Removable steering wheel

    Pedal maxx

    Wing

    Flashing brake light

    Led for the hoops

Yellow underglow kit, interior led kit

    tricLED brows

The wife wants more lights, but have a ZZP stage 1 turbo, new coolant hoses, gauge, angle brace, all in the garage and a ZZP rear exhaust for it on the way. Those are next as soon as the pipes get back from powder coat. I'm keeping the costs down doing the mods myself and getting some of those parts used, but dang if this still isn't the most fun I've had spending money on a car/project ever! Really loving the group ride aspect too, reminds me of the bike days and those rides except with less bar stops! Just need some more good market days to replenish the "fun" money bucket as lots more I'd like to do! Looking forward to learning and getting more ideas from you all!

Vid after I got steering wheel done -

    P.S. - I now have 4305 miles :D

LOL! I would never be ashamed of being beat by Jerry Miculek! That guy is just absolutely phenomenal! I would consider it an honor just to shake his hand.

He's awesome - one of the coolest guys I know in the sport for sure! He was 2nd overall in TX shooting open and I was happy to shoot 70% of his score lol!
