I think I'll give it a bit and see, maybe wait till the motivation comes in to take it. Kinda like how when email billing came out...they were like hey we can Email this paper bill to you at no charge!! Then after holding out forever it turned into, here's a $5 monthly credit if you let us email vs mail you your bill etc.... I'll wait till it's like $1500 biden bucks, then I'm in.

Looks like under the hood of the wife's old VW bug! Even though I'm doing it myself and far from professional installer, I hate wire messes. The OCD takes care of those.... I've seen some awesome looking LED lights then when the hood is popped you get an idea of who installed it and/or calls for electrical tape on the ride....

Heater hose for new turbo cooling lines showed up today too. Hoping to get that wrapped up over this next week and that the weather is a bit warmer to do it. 10 feet of this hose on Amazon was $36.75 or 25ft for $30.15 - crazy how that shit works sometimes....

Yeah, there not Rockford Fosgate speakers anymore, but I'm cheap and wanted to make the stock speaker location work for me. I'm leaving them split for now as I'll need to drill some holes and extend the speaker wire from the kicker speaker to run to the amp and then the 4 wire LED pwr/ctrl needs to be extended out as well. Not 100% sure how long yet as waiting on LED controller from kicker still.

The weight on these compared to the stock speakers makes the Rockford's feel like a joke. Not surprising the distortion I got on anything about 5 on the head unit. The kickers are too tall for the cover, but used some plastic weld UV light stuff that was clear to tac the stock covers on so their secure, and besides sitting higher don't look too bad! Plan is to keep that stock tweeter speaker in use and why I just clipped the main speaker, we'll see how these work.

In everything there are winners and losers. The key is to profit regardless of if your person won or lost. Time to batten down the hatches and wait for the economic damage. Being debt free and cash heavy will allow me to clean up during a recession. I'll not only survive this election but profit from it.

While I mostly agree with that, the dollar is in serious trouble. Biden will not mess with interest rates and the money printing will continue. Just be careful that cash may not buy as much soon!

At some point and hopefully sooner than later, someone is going to have to explain to me why voter ID at the voting booth is a bad idea. I understand it’s a bad idea for those that want fraud but for those who want integrity I suggest you have two years before the next election to get an ID. If you can’t do that you have no business voting anyway.

Exactly - for years it was opposed with voter suppression claims. When you suppress valid votes with invalid ones - I can't see that argument continuing.

Bill, Don't feel like the lone ranger. I'm totally fed up by the way the Democrats say they won this election. I don't think I'll ever vote again. Just my $0.02 worth.

This right here. Regardless of what happens in this election, these "irregularities" need to be addressed. Covid was crazy and all good politicians know not to let a good crisis go to waste. Kudos you pulled it off with all your mail in/absentee ballot changes months before the election...now we spend the next few years bringing integrity back or we have nothing at all.

I'm giving this Soundstream one a go, haven't installed yet...it's on the list to do!

    • Rubicon Nano 2000W Class D 5-CH Marine amplifier
    • High Efficiency Class D Full Range Amplifiers. 2-ohm Stereo & 4-ohm Bridged Class D Full Range
    • Hybrid Aluminum Alloy Heatsink for Optimum Dissipation
    • 12dB Bass Boost Increases Low Octave Harmonics
    • MOSFET Power Supply w/ Audiophile Grade IRTM Transistors

18 with ride command, so kinda wanted to keep the stock stereo. 4x 6.5 led kickers with hump pods for two and then using stock floor location for the other two. Then two 6" I think they are JL subs under glovebox there. I didn't have much in my audio budget left after those dang speaker mounts $$$$ so going to try this amp and then upgrade later if I need to. I got one of those harnesses that goes in between stock radio out and stock amp to give signal to this amp. At $200 and having the 2ohm sub output if it sounds good this is quite the amp for the money.

    LOL

"Do you like big lurid smoky burnouts? You don’t need 700 horsepower and a 4,000-pound Dodge sedan to do them. Flip the traction control off and you’re rolling big white clouds faster than Elon puffing Rogan’s good stash. And when you put the power down it’ll actually boogie. "

A quad conversion is on my list to do one day. Probably not next year, but eventually. In fact I don't know who's sling this is (pictured below), but it's been my inspiration and "end goal" when I think of where I want to get my sling to looks wise. Here is the problem... the wife and I were talking tonight and she said if I did that she'd never ride in it again. I was kinda shocked...she said it'd lose all the uniqueness of the 3 wheel, yada yada. She won't say it, but she loves all the looks we get with the sling. That night downtown Denver with a big group and parading around downtown, she felt like a prom queen. So honestly I think that's what it is for her and feels like that goes away with conversion.

So without starting a debate on 3 vs 4 wheel, as that's not my intention - curious for those of you that have the quad do you still get the same "sweet ride" looks/comments? More/Less? They are unique as hell either way in my opinion - I'm just chasing the adult go cart thing I think personally.
