KelTec firearms are weird. Almost always a good investment as supply is almost always down and when down the prices go 2-3x MSRP. I had their pump shotgun do that and sold and the same with the P22 I think it was .22mag version that pistol that held like 30 rounds. Jammed all the time so sold for 2x what I had into it the next time they were hot. KelTec does stand behind them quality wise if you do have issues, which is always good. Good luck finding one!

I really wanted to get this one, but it's not D.O.T approved. I'm sure once a cop would stop me, he'd be all over that fact big time. Sure glad I'm in Florida and no helmet required if you're over 21

Is that one of the ebay ones? I looked real hard at a black and yellow version but $300 for something not required here in CO was a bit much. Those did said DOT and another approval, but from Malasia or something so they probably just add that to listing to sell. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Custo…1f26cd:g:TMcAAOSwoQ5ffJrn

I've driven in the rain and wonder if there is any problem with water spray from the tires? I like the idea and look of these but am curious if this causes a problem or not. Thanks.

I think if your driving in the rain you'll get wetter by the rain then the water that does come up through these. I live on gravel driveway and having brand new tires some of those tiny pebbles stuck. Tire was covered, yet it's didn't all "fly up" when I got on pavement, sure a few pieces but most hit fender vs this opening. Just saying I don't think much will fly through there. I did order the mesh though more so for looks over functionality, but bet those few pebbles won't make it through now!

Working on the bumper trim pieces I noticed one of my sway bar end links has a slight bend to it. No idea when this happened, so ordered your DDM ones to replace both of them. Since I was ordering I got the sway bar bracket as well. Here's where I might of screwed up, I have the twist dynamics sway bar. Are these sway bars the same diameter, will your mounting brackets fit? I'm thinking so, but want to verify before you ship to spare having an issue!

Got out for a quick spin today to pick up the kiddo from school. He was stoked, heck think half the reason he didn't fight me on going in person today was so he could get picked up if my scheduled allowed. Wasn't too bad temp wise, if I had more time would of went for a longer ride. Considering "feet" of snow coming later this week, it was awesome to get out!

Anyone run in any static with hooking up those sound systems? I put the ssv kit in and for the life of me can't figure why I get constant static. I moved the ground to three different locations with no luck. I may take it to a shop...granted you can't hear the static when on the move in the SS.

Funny you posted this I have the same issue. Thought it was just USB drive, then tried blue tooth and it does the same with no music playing or when a song is paused etc... It's not much but it's there. I'm grounded to battery on the amp, made sure speaker wires weren't anywhere near touching power cable, even using the wire separator on the kicker marines specially to stop any interference. I'm thinking it's related to how I'm using ride command single left/right audio signal vs a real head unit. Sounds good when music on though, so not sure I'm motivated enough to buy a new radio and give up ride command yet lol. Curious what you find out if you do take it in!

Amp cable showed up this week, so got the soundstream amp going using the hi-inputs. Easier to just look at the pic but after a bit of soldering it works as intended and front/rear and subs are all working and sound good despite using the ride command radio. Also added in a battery monitor/display. I know I know my ocd is triggered too and it's not perfectly level. Got off work early and few too many of those blue mountains I guess in the process but it'll work.

I actually saw this one on Facebook earlier and not opposed to a 7 1/2 hr on way road trip. But again my dilemma that I am trying to think thru is yes this is a SL vs S with a top which is what I am wanting at some point. Is this a good deal compared to getting new one for 2k more. Also know one is Exotec and one is Polaris and that’s another big discuss from what I have been reading. I’m not in a all fired hurry but also think that the warmer that it gets the more the prices may go up but I could be wrong.

Majority of us here have the GM motor myself included so opinion maybe a bit biased. I do like being able to get my parts from any auto-parts store and since I knew I was going to mod it going used was way to go for me. That said seeing some that have mods I bought and are low mileage if that one has the roof you want already then that's makes that price even better. I would ask what about the polaris engine makes you want that over the GM? Mod wise if you are going to add things there are things in the works for the new motor, but a lot more ready to bolt onto the GM platform.

Did mine as well with help of buddy so get what's involved with turbo anyway. Just wouldn't want to do it in parking lot / grassy field, with people around asking questions and interrupting the process. I mean having all the tools handy in a garage vs what you packed to take to an event. If I was a business I'd certainly charge more for an install at an event vs in my shop. How do you handle the ECU update at an event? Just a lot of variables and hats off to those vendors that pull that off.

I always got 34/35 but now going to get maybe 25 due to supercharger install. I'll find out when riding season starts. On short trip around lake I only got 25.

I've been thinking I'll be low 20's with turbo, was 26/27 before and like you haven't really tested it yet but with keeping RPM higher and yeah turbo it's going to be hard to drive in eco mode.
