Hey, what am I chopped liver!? Keith and Josh are floating around somewhere too. I asked Rab if there will be a vendor section, and I'm sure he's pretty busy about now. Either way we're here!

Speaking of Avatars.... Some of you folks have interesting ideas... But there is one Avatar on this site I got to ask about...
@Tripod Why does the glove in your Avatar have two thumbs and only three fingers??? And what's with that silly button?
Uh... I'm all thumbs?!
we did chantix for the weaning off.... steve didnt have any problems with it, but after a couple weeks of medication, I did. Strangely enough, I would wake up for the day and stumble into the kitchen to find the mayo left out lid off, ham laid out, bread open on the bar .... i was getting up and eating and had no memory of it. steve and I were not married yet, still dating and I was the only one at home... i quit the stuff before i finished the script out.. no telling what else I was possibly doing...
That urine stain in the carpet, I always blamed my cat for.... now I wonder.
I've personally known 2 people that took that stuff & it's BAD NEWS! Both had horrible nightmares & 1 has never been "exactly right" even after getting off of it. Would not recommend that drug to anyone...
Here is where we can post addresses of the service men & women near & dear to our hearts. They love (& deserve) to receive mail, even from people they don't know! In fact, it's even more fun that way! My daughter Crystal in Afghanistan is LOVING the mail she's receiving from Slingshot owners. I had posted her address on "that other forum" so here it is again:
LTJG Crystal Rath
NATO Role 3 MMU
Kandahar Airfield
APO AE 09355
Proud of you both! Have an occasional real cigarette but have weaned off with the help of vaping. I use a sub-ohm tank unit also, a Halo Reactor.
congratulations! you picked the FAST one!
With the release of the 2016-1/2 models, there are now 2 SL colors: (slow) Red & Turbo Silver. Base model is Black (not black pearl) & the LE is White. Just so ya' know...
I'm worried you put in "Human Female" because you've dabbled. You baaaad boy.
Oh Baaaaaby!!! You got her phone #?!?!
OMG @Tripod a student? Where's the emoji "taken a crap" located
Hey Bro, I've always been a student of the human female. I will now share EVERYTHING I have learned!!!
113 members already!!! Love it!!!
Holy Crap Batman!!! we got Slingking over here
And Henry and Noel...
The forum has now been tainted...
Thank You @Tripod Rab did reach into his own pocket for the funds for all the software to put this together...not including having to pay for all the bandwidth. The donation tab is just that...a donation. No one has to feel pressured into it. Probably will not get a little sticker in the mail or a magical slingshot appear by your name with some bogus title (at least I don't think that will happen) But it is appreciated. So thank you to everyone that has donated!
Badges? We don't need no stinking badges!!!
...speaking of vendors...there are several at 'the other place' that I'd miss sorely for their valuable input...hopefully we can get them over this way somehow
So far, I know Henry from Alpha is here @Turbosling & also Noel from Cycle Springs @Noel Hughes
Two major categories need to be added:
A "For Sale by Owner" section
A "Wanted/ISO" section
When a person has sold their item, they need an option to change the thread title to SOLD or have the ability to delete the thread.
When a person has found their Wanted item, same thing - change thread title to FOUND or be able to delete thread.
Just a thought... (& I so rarely have one! )
Still learning my way around & hit the "Donations" tab. Until @rabtech gets some vendor income coming in (& even then, so what?!) it would be nice to chip in a few $. No one asked me to post this but we all know how hard of a worker Rab is so I know, without a doubt, he's got countless hours into building this awesome forum. I'm sure he's incurred some expenses too. So, what better way to say "Thank you!!!" Just sayin'...
Hit "quote" and then "reply" has worked for me
Ha! You just beat me on the draw! Love it!
How do we reply to individuals within threads? I think I figured out the PM part.
Click "quote" to the right of their post, then Reply.
